Fun game, with plenty of tricky puzzles! The puzzle-creation and sharing leave something to be desired; it would definitely be easier to share and play others' puzzles if it'd been integrated with the Steam Workshop or at least something other than sharing a code or "card" (I still don't get these) with specific people. But for the fully single-player aspect, it's pretty decent and worth it for the novelty of the escheresque puzzles. There's no windowed mode, which is frustrating, and I don't normally use in-game sound, so I can't tell you how that is, if those are important to you.

The puzzles are very fun and allow some level of replayability, in that they are scored based on three factors: cycles (number of movements), cost, and area (number of squares used). Because of this, you can play puzzles multiple times in order to try to get better scores for one criterium (but often to the detriment of another), such as a solution that sacrifices size in order to be cheaper.
The "story" can be ignored (all it does is give context to the puzzles), but adds a small dose of humor to the game through dialogue between your character (a know-it-all alchemist) and your character's friend (a helpful fellow alchemist who isn't putting up with your antics).

Excellent story, beautiful world, engaging soundtrack and voice acting, and delightfully varied gameplay. This game strikes a nice balance for me with playing a character with established relationships and background and allowing me to make defining choices for my character that give me influence over their allies and their personality. The world of GreedFall is exciting and draws me in with both the multi-faceted story enshrouding the island, the artfully set cities and wilds that make up the landscape, and the overall themes of exploration, exploitation, and (of course) greed. The only negative for me was that, for an adventure game, the amount of dialogue felt a bit heavy, and I was frequently hitting ESC and using subtitles to hurry through the some of the more drudgy character interactions.

Decent puzzles, completely broken achievements. Definitely not worth full price.

Yet again, more great content for Kyle is Famous. I love the creativity and absurdity of the decisions and endings in this game, and, as an inexpensive DLC for a free game, it is well worth my time.
Kyle is Hotdog gives Kyle the option to wake up in the morning as a hot dog salesman, as opposed to a famous show host (Kyle is Famous base game) or evil Christmas demon (Kyle is Santa DLC). Facing Kyle today are the age-old questions of where do I find hot dogs, how do I get dressed, can I eat this fridge, and also—somehow—should I liberate a gang of imprisoned orphans ?

Decent picross puzzles. Not worth it for $4.99, so get it while it's on sale (frequently on sale for 50 cents).

This expansion added maybe a half hour to an hour of gameplay for me, as I was trying to figure out the new endings. Because the base game is free, I consider 2-3$ to be reasonable, as far as pricing goes. The writing for Kyle is Santa is much crazier than that of Kyle is Famous, and I had multiple wtf moments playing this. One of the things I was worried about, going into the game the first time, was whether I'd be able to play Kyle is Famous as normal once I had Kyle is Santa installed. Thankfully, this was not an issue, as your opening choice when you wake up each morning cements whether you will be playing as Santa or not. I appreciated that normal gameplay was still an option with the expansion installed.
Overall, it's a great expansion that adds a small amount of gameplay to an already great, free game.
