Until one can turn off the camera automatically rotating against your will, this will be a clear not recommended for me. I can literally walk to the right and the camera turns left. I can walk straight forward and the camera just decides that it should go right this time. The camera also decides by itself if I should be zoomed in way too close or way too far out, often not making sense in context.

The DLC fiasco is not even that bad as it can be easily ignored.
My issue is with missing basic functions for a PC game. The vignetting is so terrible that more than half of my screen is darkened in some way and there is no option to turn it off. 21:9 resolutions are barely supported. Also, forget about playing with mouse and keyboard. The game has forced mouse acceleration that is just insanely tuned, so you cannot even try to make it work somehow.

Game starts out good, but the flaws in the turn based combat get clear later in the game and ruins any enjoyment of the system.

Always online DRM was added for no reason 3 years after release.

Edit: Looks like it will be rolled back / patched to a state where offline play is available again. FFX is a great game and FFX-2 is also good, just very different. An easy recommendation with the issue fixed.

The game is just not good enough to recommend.

This is an amazing game, but the PC port is just atrocious. One time you can be lucky and multiplayer works and another it just flat out does not. The performance is subpar and the game straight up drops frames for frequently occuring visual effects. The situation with mods being possible but no one knowing what is allowed and might get you banned in the future is also not good.

Edit: Enough issues have been fixed to change this to a "recommended" status, but there are still performance issues that should not exist. The situation with mods is also still up in the air with nothing official out.

It starts out good but the further you get into the game, the worse it gets. Not worth the money it is asking at release.
