I like post-apocalyptic settings and city building games so what could go wrong right?
Well, this game has nice atmosphere, music and building mechanics but lacks soul.
I mean there are no characters to care about, events are boring gather X amounts of resources and raiders feel like an afterthought. The only nice distraction from gathering resources and building is the expedition station but leaves much to be desired.
In addition, I find the weather conditions to be just plain annoying and not challenging.
Sandstorms damage your buildings, there’s nothing to do about it, radiation just moves around randomly with rain, again nothing you can do about it and for droughts you just build wells.
I can’t avoid comparing this game with frostpunk and fallout and boy what a missed opportunity!
I want to explore pre-war bunkers, establish diplomatic relations with other settlements, raise fighter squads to fight raiders and mutated monsters!
Endzone would greatly benefit from a campaign, more gameplay variety and content.
In its current state It’s an OKish base game worth $10 but not more.

Well I am a ww2 buff and TCG buff so this game looked like the perfect mix right?
unfortunately no.. there is no concept of an axis vs allies mode and you see silly things like a soviet & german deck vs a japan and brit deck!! * Mind blown *
The only thing this game has that makes it stand out of the plethora of other card games is it's setting and somehow managed to ruin it. Feels at the moment like a generic TCG with a ww2 skin on top.
The Potential is there, cool artwork, 30s-40s gramophone music, interesting mechanics but sorry this alternate reality mess is a deal breaker to me.

Sadly I cannot recommend this as a casual digital board game to occasionally play with your buddies.
Contrary to my initial assumption, and to what the promo trailer wants you to believe, this is a HARD game and apart from the button and simple wires puzzles everything else is impossible to figure out on the first try without prior knowledge in the 5 min time limit.
Do not get me wrong it's not a bad game for what it is, it's just that there's a learning curve involved so not something that you can easily play with your friends on a lazy night who's only experience is monopoly.

I just got this game on sale and thought it would be fun for at least a couple of hours. Boy was i wrong! I have spend my whole saturday and still counting. The combination of final fantasy combat system and resource managment between combats is nothing new but is well executed! All i think about now is defending my camp and upgrading my weapons :D

Bonus: There is a cute ckick hitting on me! This happens in my real life like... never ever! lol!

The series keep getting better by each iteration! This installment is a feast for the eyes, each location is a canvas painting filled with the neon lights of Neo-Toky.. oops! Neo-Hong Kong I am afraid but close enough.

Soundtrack is stellar as usual, the characters are diverse and interesting and the party management is finally frustration free!

Only downside (sort-of) is the linear nature of the missions while the world of shadowrun begs for an open ended map to explore.

A deeply atmospheric game perfect for satisfying your cyberpunk craving. Kudos to Harebrained Schemes for delivering spot on!
