One of my all time favourite board games. The DLC costs certainly add up, but if you want to try stuff out, just play the Daily every day, which includes cards from all sets for free. I find I'm slowly picking them up as I keep enjoying them. Purchases and stats are cross-platform with mobile too.

Had a tonne of fun with this already. More than I ever did with the original, which was too finicky about road connections. And now it's only going to get better from here.

I don't know what this is but damn it's fun. It's not the kind of game I'd normally play but here we are 15 hours in and I've played it every day since I bought it. It's $4 and you can try it free on itch.io, what's not to love?

This is a fun little build-a-school sim without having to micromanage every different element. Quite enjoying it. Card-based builder where every card you draw you get three choices so while occasionally they're all suboptimal, they're never _bad_.

You're a shark. You eat fish, and people, and seals, and turtles. CHOMP. CHOMP CHOMP. I mean what more do you want as a shark than to chomp things? Oh, airbreathing? Sure, you can mutate some of that. Destroying shark hunters? GET AMONG IT MATES. Eat all the things. Mutate to become your best self. Eat more things. CHOMP.

This game is delightful. Simple, beautiful interface, fun and slightly challenging but not difficult (although I am thrilled that the hint system is there because I remember getting completely stuck in the demo at one point). I'm enjoying unlocking the different mysteries and clues and just having a lovely time. Highly recommend.

The hidden object part is fine, the hint system is great, but the puzzles are weirdly hard (or exceptionally easy - not much in between) Thankfully you can skip them after a short wait. Overall this was a lovely little game. I'd say prob aimed at kids 7-10..

This is a perfect little game. It's extremely forgiving (lots of save points), if you die the webs you created during the previous life are still there so you can use them to make getting back to where you died easier (it's very rarely far), the jumping motion just Feels Very Nice. Webs allow you to solve problems creatively.

You're a tiny jumping spider who can shoot lasers!

There were two things I struggled with which weren't clearly explained in the game + may be spoilery to reveal - one relates to 'how you can float' - I thought a strand of web would help me, like a tiny spiderling, but that was not it - and another was about finding secrets / bonus things. I had to re-trace a lot of my steps when I found from the discussion forums what I'd missed.

I'm nearly finished the game I think, or at least the main quest - I have a lot of wolf spiders yet to collect - but if I paid $1.50 an hour for ten genuinely fun hours of gameplay I can hardly complain, especially when I got it at a time I really needed to take my mind off things (I am far too emotionally engaged with Sporting Team and riding the wins unfortunately comes with the cost of wearing the losses).

It's great. I loved it after playing the demo, I still love it ten hours or so in.

Some of the puzzles are a bit tedious / repetitive the way I solved them (so many webs) - but there may have been better ways! Since at least one cheev requires not doing a thing I've already done I may play it through again anyway and try to find out.

If you aren't enchanted with the game by the time you've built your first webs and slingshot yourself around the place like you've got a grappling hook, maybe it's not for you. But you'll know well within the return window. Give it a shot. Game of the year 2021 for me. SD

You tell a bunch of dwarves where to dig / what to build / what to craft and they do it + skill up + are better and worse at things as they practice and while I'm not sure what the 'end game' is if anything it's a damn fun 'mining and digging and finding ore lodes and crafting' kinda game.

Terrari-ish but nowhere near the combat; you don't exactly control any character, just tell them what to do (you can prioritise tasks/areas of tasks).

A fun little rogue-lite action game with a little base building, weapon crafting and upgrading, but mostly just slaughtering zombies and finding loot and other survivors to join your crew and then accidentally getting them killed but look, you can basically play three minutes at a time if that's all you have time for, lovely tiny chunks of play.
