The mods transform this game into an amazing VR experience on the level of Half-Life Alyx. This is not a game, it's a platform at this point.

Don't even remember what the base VR unmodded game plays like, it's probably not worth it. MOD IT!

Well done character driven story, the main cast is an unusual mix of personalities avoiding the usual tropes found in games. The story is the main highlight of the game which makes it worth playing.

The game play is action based and can be engaging but I did not care much for it. I am sure it's serviceable and deep at the higher difficulties but I never felt the need to engage and learn it, thankfully the item upgrade and dismantling system is straight forward but compared to other RPGs feels unnecessary only to service the loot based approach of randomized skills, which did not sit well with me.

The graphics and environments are pretty simple compared to contemporary games, but serviceable. The main characters are well detailed.

Overall I really enjoyed the game's story and the game's voice acting is very extensive and well done. The game play and graphics were serviceable for the story and nothing special. The soundtrack is also well done, with a few stand out tracks.

The game starts really slow....and remains slow for quite a while. But after a certain point, in the last 30% the game gets so much better. The characters and story are very well done. The game does'nt have any technical issues on PC, maybe a few minor glitches here and there hardly noticeable.

Game starts 7/10 and ends as a 9/10.

Fighting Hordes is a key highlight.

The game commits the ultimate sin....it's boring. Came in thinking its a going to be a 2D Metriodvania Arkham Asylum, instead got mind numbing levels, dull presentation.

Its the OG Dark Souls!

A proper remake which invoked the same or even better feelings of playing the original RE2 in '98. A must play title and even must replay title. These games come around once in a decade.

An instant classic, this is the type of game which will be in many the greatest games of all time lists.

Does not reach the wonder and awe of the first subnautica, but still a great game. Feels more like a full expansion than a sequel.

A great game, although this remaster should have been much cheaper or free for existing owners, guess that is the price to pay for a working mulitplayer servers. Also easy to get 4k 60 fps with decent hardware.

Game of the year 2018? So far yes!
