Arguably the best game Supergiant has made thus far.

After a few floors this becomes such a grindfest. I really don't like grinding that much, and this game forces you to. Sometimes I could beat every enemy in a floor easily, but the moment I entered the next floor all of the enemies were much stronger than me, so I had to grind another level (which takes a lot of time - proportional to how high on the tower you are) and come back. If you decide not to grind, each enemy takes a lot of time to beat and the boss takes hours to beat, and that's assuming you won't die.

This started out as a GREAT game, but I couldn't even finish one of the characters story fully because there was so much grinding.

I played the game on Normal, which is the recommended playing style, so if I ever play it on very easy and the game is more bearable to me I'll update my review.

You can literally complete it in about 6 minutes, but you might be playing this for 100+ hours.
