This is my 2nd time playing through RE3 since it's release and the first time on PC. Continuing on from my previous review of RE2 I have to say the game is very mixed which seems to be the general consensus from the RE community.
Combat/gameplay is just as good as RE2 with the dodge, while being more action orientated, was a nice addition, my only gripe gameplay wise is the bad camera and the crazy amount of scripted events and cutscene spam.

While not as in depth as it's original the story still does a good enough job of expanding on the events of the Raccoon City incident. The game was crazy short unfortunately and would probably have served better as a DLC for RE2. The game also lacked the additional modes we have come to love from RE games such as RE2's bonus modes or RE4's Mercenaries, instead choosing to ad two extra tiers of difficulty to replace them which just doesn't hit the same.
Overall I would recommend to wait for a sale before grabbing this as it is a solid RE experience just not worth the full price point.
As of writing this review I have beat all difficulties Hardcore+ at S as well as unlocking all of the records.

Modding is still a W but the level is not quite the same as 2.

Next up its RE4..

Always wanted to try this but never got around to it until now, I am however very familiar with the game thanks to several years of content creation.
I think the reboots were a very good idea by CapCom and they paid off big time, this is one of the best survival horror games I have ever played.
Combat feels solid and exploration is rewarding enough with upgrades etc. I also enjoyed the challenges too.
The story was a fantastic retelling of the original while still feeling relevant to the new RE world.
As of writing the review I have completed all runs at S or S+ (forgot to not save more than 3 times)
All bonus modes at sub 10 couple at sub 7. As well as all in-game records.

Modding community is also amazing, some well made reskins, texture overhauls, etc really helped me immerse myself and have fun at the same time.

Onto RE3 next..

Managed to get everything before servers die. 100% at 3 hours playtime

This game had a lot of potential but it sadly didn't meet many expectations.
The game as of writing this review is a buggy mess; terrible connection no matter server region resulting in what I can only describe as ice-skating endermen as well as a weird bug with respawns either getting a huge delay or breaking entirely.

When this was announced I really wanted it to be good, played for an hour got sick of the bad gameplay and constant hitreg issues so stopped, literally grinded another hour for three achievements I didn't have.

Next time a multiplayer project for RE is announced I hope they learn from this mistake.

Story was fantastic and told yet another amazing demon slaughtering power fantasy tale with guts and lots of them.
Honestly a really well done prequel and honestly probably the most tasteful choice after the ending of Eternal's 2nd DLC. Really liked the new Cosmic Dimension, added a lot of unique and liminal elements as well as expanding the lore including on the mysterious Wraiths. Ending with a satisfying climax.

Gameplay is solid, a much more grounded and fitting style for the character imo. I much prefer the more methodical approach similar to 2016 with this entry expanding on that with smooth parrying and combat mechanics. I wasn't super keen on Eternal's fast pace so this was a nice breath of fresh air. The new executions were an interesting touch but I enjoyed them especially trying all the different angles to get all the animations.

Visually this game is stunning, maxxed out everything with DLAA (not DLSS) running well above 60fps stable, enemy and level design was well thought out and pleasing to the eyes, deffos nailed the various settings with this one.
As for performance complaints while I do say forced RT is a little on the weirder side I do think that people need to come to realize that not every brand new game is gonna work on those older systems anymore.

Overall I had fun and 0 issues so I'm looking forward to the DLC.

Its decent but honestly barely touch this anymore, demo is worthless you need the full thing to do anything tbh.
