One of the best co-op games ever to be made and the best example of a live service done right.

This may be the first time I’ve ever come close to understanding why people have any sort of affection for cars.

One of the best examples of a game that is so close to being REALLY FREAKING GOOD.

Pros:
Breathtaking vistas and design. Actual incredible work.
Some of the sound design gives me goosebumps. It's really outstanding work.

Cons:
1. Readability
The readability of majority of scenes takes a backseat to visuals. It's like they didn't play test their game. I spent 20 minutes in the mines only to realize that I could move to the left through a wall that looked solid from the current camera angle. The bus "puzzle" is another example of that. How was I to know that I could enter the wheel well when it doesn't read that I should?

2. Camera
I really get it. The places your artists made are stunning. Downright gorgeous at times. However, I cannot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ see where my character is and where I need to go. Please push in the camera when it's not time to look at the pretty space. I cannot see my character and I am not getting a magnifying glass out to find where my character is. Many of the opening sections were so bad I had to get inches from my screen. It would be one thing if this game was 2D, but it's 2.5D. Unacceptable. Give the main character a safety vest or something so I can spot him easily. It doesn't help that his color palette blends in with the environment.

3. Jank
Physics are cool. But Somverville's are inconsistent and unreliable. Moreover, I had to restart multiple times to ensure that a solution wasn't a bug. Sometimes melting rocks produces a ton of water, sometimes it doesn't? I have no idea whats happening here.

Honestly, if you fix these three things this could be an amazing experience. The game is a feast for the eyes, however I cannot recommend this game in its current state.

Thousands of hours learning and enjoying this game. It's a wonderful simulation to peer into and immerse yourself in. I have nothing but positive words. It's complex, and no amount of hearing that over and over will properly express that, but it's worth it.

The biggest thing that got me going was following along with someone else playing and following what they do. The tutorial can only go so far. It's much easier to follow the actions of someone instead of being handed a textbook.
