The landscapes are mostly flat and boring. Locomotion is a pain and nauseating. The UI is a cluttered mess with no organization features. Potion making is confusing and offers exactly zero explanation as to how it works. The player home is barren, uncustomizable and plain. The list goes on, there are just too many annoying little things that ruin this experience.

Edit: this review is ancient in internet time, I'm thinking about going back in now to see how it plays since the updates.

I feel like I was robbed. Stick of Truth was leagues better than this and I was expecting so much more. It's just as bad as the show has gotten. This game is not worth $60 and I want a refund.

People keep quitting when I'm about to beat them at chess. They only ever stay and play when they're winning.

I didn't think the story was very good. All of that crazy stuff - transcripts of their conversations, psychological evaluations in the research center, a fence being up that Delilah *didn't know about*, and the coughing over the walkie talkie - and it's just 'oh lol we were just being paranoid the whole time'? I don't buy it.

Do you see what happens when you abuse your userbase? You lose your Overwhelmingly Positive score. That's a big deal. You shot through Very Positive and at the time of this writing you're in Mostly Positive. You're well on your way to Mixed, which will turn off a lot of new players.

I'm not going to tell you what to do, what to take out and what to add. You should know what people want already, and you know that it isn't this. We know you know. You promised it wouldn't BE this. But here we are, and your reviews are worse than ever.

Unfortunately this has no voiceacting like the later Lego games, but it's still a wonderful adventure of magic and discovery just like the movies (if not a little watered down)!
