Review of Next fest demo.
As a crafter/survivor this game has potential. I enjoyed figuring out some of the mechanics, but i have issues with the UI. This to the extent that it detracted from my enjoyment.
I believe that there might be a good game in the making.
What i would like to see:
- Some kind of tutorial that guides you in some of the basics
- An improved UI. It came across as clunky and i needed to click around more than i would have liked.
- Better tracking of vehicle and points of interest while EVA'ing.
What i enjoyed:
- Lots of things to discover craft.
- 6DOF

If you can look past it's primarily UI related issues, this can be a game for you at this stage.

Really enjoyed the game, although the puzzles were a bit easy. Which let to me finishing it very quickly. So if you are used to solving puzzles, get this game at 50% off or so. It will give you 2 to 3 hours of entertainment.
When you are less of a puzzler, you should get enough entertainment out of it at full price.

Some of the most fun i've had with a game in a while. Despite some not insurmountable challenges, here and there, a very relaxing game to play. I keep going back from time to time despite there is no new content.

It's a nice puzzling game. It holds the balance well difficulty wise. I completed it without hints, otherwise it would probably be a bit too easy.

The game regularly crashes on me with a directx 10 not found exception, although i'm running a directx12 system. It's the only game i have such problems with. In Opengl under linux i have no issues. It might be nice if i could force the Opengl under Windows.
Despite this downside, when i get it running it keeps me entertained. I always want to play the next level or beat a previous score, so definately recommend it.
