Short summary: Excellent game, with room for improvement.

I'm a well-versed Paradox player, having played their grand strategy games since Europa Univeralis II. The Victoria series has had a reputation for being the most Paradox-y of them all, but Vicky 3 manages to hand-hold most of the frustrations through copious tooltips.

That being said, the UI could really use some work.

Trade
Navigating between your own market and individual goods is tedious.
Ideas for improvement:

1) Be able to quickly navigate to a list of what buildings are actively producing what RGO in order to fix market surplus/deficit
2) Be able to initiate trade deals from a good screen.
3) Be able to initiate trade deals from another country's market's goods screen

Military
Trying to figure out which generals' troops are actually combat ready is tedious.
Ideas for improvement:

1) You should be able to see manpower quickly. Outliner shows total number of divisions, but the % of manpower actually available takes way too many submenus to see.

Production
Hard to figure out where to build sometimes. Sorting by productivity, revenue, and peasants is nice. Should be able to sort by available infrastructure too, though (or, even better, predicted infrastructure given a construction queue).

As well, it should be quicker to figure out how much a given construction will actually do to your economy once fully staffed.

That being said, none of these problems detract greatly from the game experience as is.
