Great survival-horror game, even playable like the classics if you know the weapons and demons well enough. Sure as ♥♥♥♥ ain't flawless, but damn do I love it.

Changes I would make:
-Holy ♥♥♥♥ This Shotgun Sucks I Need To Rework It
-Why the ♥♥♥♥ does falling from 5ft deal 10 damage??
-I will personally kick every chaingunner directly in the nuts.
-No more codes, only hacking minigames. Except for locker 666.
-Nightmare is getting a total overhaul, ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥.
-How did they ♥♥♥♥ up armor so much?
-No BFG Edition UI, that ♥♥♥♥ is so much worse.
-Sprinting and jumping need massive increases, I refuse to believe the sprint speed in this game is how fast a *trained marine* can run.

Probably more stuff that my brain refuses to show to me, but that's all I can think of for now.

This is a commercially released Doom WAD and that's all I'll say. Is it good? Find that out for yourself.

If you still think this game is total ♥♥♥♥, go ♥♥♥♥ yourself. Realize that despite this not being what we wanted back in '04, it's still a good survival-horror game.

Two demons we hate, two demons we love, and the greatest shotgun to ever be added into a video game. Exactly what we needed. City levels suck, though.

The Mom Doer has been brought to life in this gloriously stupid and fun game.

like burnout 3 but with car upgrades and Very Not Good Voice Acting And Cutscenes

handling model could use tweaking, seems like it's trying to go for realism while keeping the arcadey feel of burnout and it didn't work out

cutscenes and voice acting just

really aren't necessary either, this game would be fine if not better without them
subtitles don't match up to the lines either

if you needed more indication that I am a threat to all life on earth when given the proper tools, then look no further

pros:
-fun as hell
-movement is great and all flows really well
-gunplay flows well with said movement
-incredible style
-incredible music
-vibrant colors instead of the fallout 3 color palette like every other apocalypse game
-good optimization (I think)
-funny In My Humble Opinion™

cons:
-no 21:9 support :sadge:
-no chaos squad and there isn't a mod out there to bring it back :pensive:
-sometimes the music just won't play even if you're in combat/have a high style level
-false alarm for "corrupted saves" when in reality the unplayable old autosaves appear in the save data list
-dlc appears earlier than it probably should (I give it a pass bc it warns you to not do it until beating the main game)
-collectible pickup sounds play when you go over an area where one was, even if it's already been collected

tl;dr:
incredible game with a tiny amount of bugs, a lot of style, and it deserves to be remembered as one of insomniac's best games
