The reason I vote this down is that every single time I've tried playing this game, I die, die, die and die over and over again even as a lowbie. It seems like the only way I can get ahead in this game is by maxing out all my gems or something right off the bat. The starter quests bring you to zones and then monsters pop up that kill you in 2 hits even though potions are running on cooldowns. So lame. Sorry not my type.

thank you I will try what you mentioned above. Perhaps it's the gems that I need to setup to get started.

lvl all your gems right off the bat? why would that even be a thing? no one does that.

ez mode 1-55:just use frost gem that splits on hit(sorry forgot name. but its usually dropped/early available at the one store after you complete a mission specific objective and earn their trust). put gems next to it that increase its damage output in a 3 slot gear with the appropriate color scheme to the gems you wanna use to boost the frost attack.

Just this 1 move is enough to carry you easily to 55ish.

another tip. kill every single thing you can find. search everything on map.
if your speeding to the exits ignoring everything. yes you will be weak and pathetic. yes those mobs you missed probs gangbeat you into oblivion.

another tip: dont play on hardcore permadeath. the game is not fun on hardcore unless you've done/seen all there is to see/do in the non hardcore modes.
