at all and you can't go a second without ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LAG; even on T1 or Fiber-ops.

every new character that comes out is more broken than the previous, there is

also no measure of skill - it's all cash and equipments.

no one is capable of having a sane conversation about the game because

the structure of it dissolves competitive accountability

ideals that characterize competition don't exist, and instead (like

any other clique) we're characterized by petty drama, lunchroom-tier

and because you don't even have to be good to advance through the

ranks, there's a massive gap in player mindsets that ensures the

community will never have anything approaching common etiquette
if you can reach competition levels without ever giving a ♥♥♥♥ about

competition, how the ♥♥♥♥ can the playerbase be expected to band

together as a cohesive whole
so when all that's left is drama, when the value of competition falls

apart and it's impossible for anyone to have a justified sense of

pride, everyone clings to their tier position and community perception

as their only measure of self-worth, taking attacks on game design as

attacks on them personally
and since it's impossible to carry on any meaningful discussion about

the game, when everything devolves into ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in shouting matches

and trolls trolling trolls(hi), naturally the only official place to

discuss the game is locked down and turned into some kind of hugbox

gulag, where positivity is mandatory and opinions are simultaneously

worthless and all-important, where presenting someone with facts

qualifies as a personal attack
so having ensured that new players have absolutely nowhere to turn for

advice, we retreat to private skype chats and ♥♥♥♥♥ about the game

nonstop, but never leave because it's given us all a false sense of

distinction, competitive fools' gold
as if being part of the 1% in this game means anything, where 99% of

players couldn't give a rat's ass about competition
