Banned for buying the highest founders pack and then not playing it since the early access. Please fix this!

Edit:
I will be leaving the old review in place, it appears that many of the issues I had previously mentioned are no longer an issue. I have not gone back in the game to test out the platform jump I had mentioned but frame rates seem to be more stable now and so the platforming aspects are fine.

The combat also feels smoother now which is great. I did not play too much of it after the update unfortunately but hopefully someday I will get around to playing through it.

Original Review:
This game is too broken to play. I do not suggest trying it until they fix it. How this got out into the wider world before they fixed this stuff is beyond me. Just to name a few

- Random drops in FPS to 0 for several seconds it will just sit there like its loading but gives no indication and this often times happens in the middle of a jump during the platform sections.
- Random UI glitches like rain just frozen in air.
- Jumping is not that great, there is a point where you have to do a platform jump and press space bar to pull yourself up but it does not show up unless your camera is positioned perfectly.
- It crashed and then the crash screen crashed so no idea what actually happened
- Stuck at a boss fight where the boss just straight up disappears randomly making the boss fight impossible and so I can not go any further in the game.

This has just been the first few hours of game play and now I can not even continue to play. Hopefully they fix it and I can update this review.

So far I have played 14 hours of the game and as a quick review. It is amazing buy it and enjoy if you have not over hyped yourself and you love exploring and space you will really love this game!

PROS:
• Whole game is 2.5GB download!
• So massive that you will be exploring places no one else in the whole world has been!
• Great survival elements
• Moderate learning curve
• Dialog is awesome! You get to learn alien languages but in the interim the game gives you a description of the interaction and then you are given choices and based on the race of the NPC depends on how you should respond with rewards for a job well done!
• There are no quests like “go get me that bowl of soup on the table” that is 2 feet away.
• Tons of options for spaceships
• Several ways to get spaceships, items and upgrades.
• Different dimensions of exploration
• Still hidden features that after 14 hours I am still learning new things about this game is pretty awesome.
PRO/CONS:
• Caves are awesome and tempting but entering them could mean you never get back out. (Pro because that is pretty epic, Con because well you could end your game this way)
Cons:
• When searching for wildlife on planets it can be near impossible sometimes to find all species I spent a solid 6 hours trying to find the last animal I needed on a planet before giving up and leaving.
• Buildings on the polar caps tend to be in walls or partly in walls so you can enter them but you cannot interact with everything.
• If something is underwater, you should probably move on.
• I am really bad at shooters so the little flying creatures are impossible for me to scan I have to shoot them down first which is almost just as impossible for me.

So at the end of the day yes it has bugs. Honestly what game doesn’t when it comes out. Everyone loses their mind over nothing. It is still a fun and amazing game I cannot wait for more content to keep pouring out of this game. Realistically I can see getting about 100 hours into this game and then without adding any content I would likely start to get a bit tired of it. But 100 hours of gameplay for $60 awesome! People are out here complaining and yet you have games that you can easily beat in a few hours coming out with a $60 price tag and the same people don’t even bat an eyelash.

I hope you pick it up and maybe someday we will come across places each has explored but only maybe. Enjoy the game for what it is not what you expected it to be and have fun with the future patches! Thank you to the dev team for an amazing game and the I am sure countless hours that have been poured into it!
