It took me a while to really get this game, but with just a little bit of commitment it really opened up for me. The combat is really diverse and interesting and at first it felt like button-mashing, but as I understood the game more it became increasingly more intentional. The story is really satisfying and the quips are really well timed and funny. I only beat it once but I think I had my fill. I like the fists the most. This is an amazing game.

I think this is the type of work that really benefits the industry. It's such a unique concept, while also activating the caveman fun receptors in your brain. The object is super simple, and the way color is used to show what things are is really amazing. The way each disc has a different set of drums to change the entire feel, and how each thing that happens in the game is set on a specific part of the kit, it is just like nothing I have ever experienced or imagined. It was a little tedious at times but overall I am so glad this game exists, and I'm very glad I was able to play it. 8.4/10

Daniel Mullins is a genius. It feel so real. No puzzle felt too hard but it also did not feel like it was on rails. This is one of my favorite games I have played this year. Literally can’t criticize the game at all. So well done. 9.2/10

Oxenfree was very fun. The gameplay was alright, and the music was not my favorite, but the narrative was very engaging and realistic. It didn’t feel like any of the the jokes or conversations were unnatural. The fact that there are so many endings is daunting, but personally i liked just going with my gut and not looking back. The story seemed a little bit spoiled once the mystery of the posessions and ghosts was revealed, I would have liked there to be more a-ha moments. maybe there would be more if I played it again.. But I won’t. 7.8/10

Hypnospace is a great game, and I really think the devs pushed the envelope on what a game even IS. The core gameplay loop is very rewarding, but it is only that way because of the attention to detail put into every corner of this virtual internet. This curiosity ended up transitioning into a want to uncover the secrets of the story. To be honest, I did have to use a guide for the last mission, but it didn't make me have a worse experience, if I had the time or patience I would have been able to complete it withot a guide. Great game.

The movement is fun, and the story is actually what kept me playing. The achilles heel is the boss fights and the overly difficult levels that would randomly pop up. Still recommended though.

Some annoying old game stuff but it really is a blast I can't believe it took me so long to play it
