The following "confession" is not exclusively my privilege, but the original Mafia of Illusion Softworks is one of my favourite games. Released at a time when the Rockstar GTA series had just moved into 3D, it was sweeping all the awards and was unfortunately compared to it, as it was a completely different experience. More linear, as the open-world element mainly replaced the cut-scenes and had no special content, while the whole setting was much more cinematic, in the standards of the relevant films of Martin Scorsese and Francis Ford Copolla.
Unfortunately, the two sequels that followed did not receive similar treatment. Mafia 2 was remarkable, without reaching the masterpiece levels of the original, while Mafia 3, a product of the Hangar 13 development team, ran in very shallow water. Therefore, the choice of Hangar 13 to fully undertake the remake of such a classic game was a risk. Risk because on the one hand Hangar 13 has not submitted its credentials as a worthy successor to Illusion Softworks (for the time being at least) on the other hand because a possible "alteration" of the character of the original game would raise a storm of reactions from its numerous fans.
Gameplay
Hangar 13, therefore, preferred not to "spoil" the recipe of the original Mafia, overloading the remake with parallel activities and unnecessary "trinkets" that we see in modern open-world games. Instead, he maintained a completely linear and cinematic style, wearing a 2020 costume, which, however, is, in fact, impossible to radiate the same brilliance and glamour as in the past. If we take into account some flaws that are observed in the field of gameplay, surely Mafia: Definitive Edition is not going to cause the same feeling that the game of 2002 did. This goes without saying, other times, other habits.
The new Mafia tells the same story that those of you who played the original know, starring the former taxi driver, Tommy Angelo, who from a devilish game of chance, enters the world of the Mafia during the period of the prohibition. The story practically begins at the end, where Tommy tries to make a deal to protect himself and his family with the police, in exchange for the head of Don Salieri, the mobster who owns virtually the entire city of Lost Heaven (a fantastic city, a mix of Chicago and New York). The narration of Tommy's mafia life in policeman Norman takes on flesh and blood in 20 chapters which have the game, where you are invited to experience first hand the rise of the antihero in the ranks of the "family" of Salieri, in the company of Sam and Paulie.
You will not find anything you have not experienced in an open-world game, but for the time it was released, these sequences were unprecedented and one of the reasons that the game entered the hearts of many gamers, along with its excellent finale. What do I mean by that? That for someone who was not lucky enough to play the original Mafia, then it is possible to wonder what all this fuss is about. A view that is reinforced by the other areas of the game, such as shooting, brawling and the sense of movement in space in general.
But things are better when they decide to talk about ironwork. Without being too scary, the cover - shooter system is decent, functional and does not cause problems. The medkits system is maintained, with Tommy replenishing only a small part of his health every time he is injured, so you have to be very careful about your placement in the space, but also when you have to get out of your cover and press the trigger. However, as it is understood, not everything is implemented to perfection here either. The main reason is the hostile AI, which proves to be annoyingly apt even with firearms (such as the shotgun), while we would not say that it tries to dismantle you in, particularly imaginative ways, beyond the "Yuria".
What's worse is that many times the snipers did not say to fall to the ground even on request and continue to shoot fearlessly, even though they have received about a dozen bullets in their body from Tommy guns. The only guaranteed solution is the headshot, but this "bullet-sponge" logic is outdated and deprives it of several points at whatever levels of realism exist. Therefore, there is no real reason to engage in the game at higher levels of difficulty, unless you want to break your nerves from the constant reloads you will make, since Tommy will fall dead with two or three balls from 50 meters far away.

Conclusion
Finally, the bottom line for Mafia: Definitive Edition is that it's a remarkable remake, perhaps not ideal for purists who will protest in the slightest, but it undoubtedly respects the original and offers a highly entertaining experience of about ten hours ( without the free-ride mode, where you do exactly what it describes). Sure, some things could be done better, but right now it's the best Mafia title you can find and its good track record is likely to lead to the creation of a new Mafia game. Of better quality, this time.

While not all of the wild departures fire on all cylinders, XCOM: Chimera Squad's open-ended difficulty settings allow everyone to bend the strong combat groundwork to their will. Chimaera Squad embraces the strange and is predominately better for it.

Just Cause series has always been over the top sandbox game and has kept improving with each iteration. There was big difference when going from 1 to 2 or 3 but 4 seems very familiar to 3, feels more like a refinement of what 3 did. Plus, Just Cause series has always faced the problem of keeping the momentum going, which is still present.

Just Cause 4 adds more tools to your arsenal to cause as much mayhem as possible which makes it even more enjoyable. Just Cause 4 code was written entirely from scratch to mitigate slow performance on consoles due to their weak CPU and prevent memory leak issue on PCs. I must say that has worked and till now it is working well on my PC.

Rico Rodriguez returns and this time is liberating the South American island Solis who are oppressed by the leader Oscar Espinosa and Black Hand Army. Plus, the plot thickens when Rico’s Father helped the Oscar to harness the power of elements and weaponize them.

Taking control of region is different compared to previous game, each region has a mission which you must complete to enable rebellion army to come in. The whole map is free to traverse but you can only move the army in those regions or neighboring to in which you have control. There are fight brewing between rebellions and the enemy in the areas you control, but that’s all for nothing as enemies cannot take back.

Weapons range from weather controlling guns to drone firing rail gun. The wind cannon blows off entire squad of enemies away, plus the lightning gun will zap enemies and everything around in the perimeter. Plus, you can ask several planes to drop large number of weapons anytime during the game. Further, the tether mechanism has seen an upgrade as well with tether balloons available now to float anything they are attached to. Tether also has different loadouts like rockets and god old retracting tether.

The upgrade path is still there and you can even upgrade your tether, like you can upgrade your balloons to explode on trigger or power tether to retract even heavy machines together.

Traversing through the environment feels as smooth as ever. Combination of parachuting, wing suiting and grappling still work like a charm but with boots on the ground, the motion is stiff with no option to dodge or roll to avoid attacks. Plus, ragdoll physics have taking a downgrade compared to previous games.

On GTX 970 and Core i7 4790K we get around 45 to 65 FPS playing on highest setting at 2560×1080 resolution. The FPS drops are mostly due to 4GB VRAM of GTX 970. Capping the game at 30FPS resulted in a smooth performance. Graphically speaking the game is not impressive and Just Cause 3 vibrant colors suited the game much more than the dull tone of the 4th game.

The progression is enabled through territory capturing missions which involve console override, killing waves of enemies or overloading the core. These missions are off putting as they slow down the pacing of the game and the game mechanics don’t fit well in small spaced missions.
The story missions have some of the most mind blowing set pieces, be it chasing a tornado or escaping a desert storm, these are the highlights of the game. There are so many destructible environments but they are also significantly cut back from previous games. The throwable C4 has also been removed in favor of mine launcher which does not allow for controlled destruction. Even though the destruction is less compared to previous entries, it is done to accommodate for much powerful weather destruction which takes place throughout the game.

Just Cause 4 feels like a refinement of Just Cause 3 rather than a proper sequel and that’s not a bad thing, its still offers the mind less fun that the series has promised. The game could have offered much more in terms of gameplay and refined gameplay mechanics but it always falls short. Hardcore Gamers Unified recommends Just Cause 4 for its mind less destruction it offers but hopes the game is polished with few patches down the line.

It must be hard going on the in the streets of Kamurocho district in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, if Yakuza 0 correctly depicts these cities in the game. Literally anything can happen, you may get thrashed down by the local thugs, or some stranger may come up to you to ask for solutions related to any of his life problems. The game seems to get unpredictable at various stages.
The place, Kamurocho, is not a huge one. In fact, the protagonist Kazuma Kiryu can reach one side from other in a matter of minutes. But it is densely populated and cluttered with clubs, shops, bars, arcades, anything and everything, sectioned and distributed by alleyway cut-through and straight pathways. And as you can imagine with this kind of setup, you may start doing a trade in one part of the area and end up in the other part after having several fights.
Yakuza 0 is full of such unpredictable moments. It’s like having short breaks to play a mobile game while being at work. You may expect a character to go fighting and making it a tough time for the other guy but he may just go on apologizing on and on. It is this unpredictability that will keep you hooked to the game. And this theme of the game will make you feel just like reality.
There are two main stories that are going on in this game. One is of Kazuma Kiryu who is being framed for a murder he didn’t do and other is of an ex-Yakuza Goro Majima who is now a cabaret manager. But weaved between these stories the stuff you will see is weird, whacky and fun. You can be at one moment involved in a plot which involves a woman who has become blind because of the post-traumatic stress and can be found shouting at the person who is singing at a Karaoke the very next moment.
Those who have played Yakuza earlier may well be used to such shifts in tone of the game while those who are just being introduced to the game will be refreshed by such sudden changes. Yakuza 0 is prequel of other games in the series and so is the perfect for being introduced to the game as a newcomer. The game is setup in the year 1988 where both the leading characters of the game are gangsters who believe in their own set of values and never waver from them.
Majima and Kazuma can tackle and take on massive groups of enemies at the same time and are equally good at it. They both have different styles and have their own specialities and upgrade trees. Kazuma has brawler style where he can tackle the enemies with counters and can even pick up objects from the environment and use them as weapons. My personal favourite is when he uses the bicycle to bash in his opponents head.
One style of Kazuma, Rush, is a composition of punches, kicks, weaving and dodging with a considerable effort put in for the steady steps. His beast style is also amazing and very much useful for large groups. In this he can pick up objects while performing a combo and throw them around on his opponents. The attacks may be basic but the possibilities make them interesting.
On the other hand, Majima has a Thug style which is similar to Kazuma’s Brawler style but has completely different animations. He also has a Slugger style in which he uses a metallic baseball bat to attack his opponents. He also uses capoeira which is a Brazilian fighting style that looks like breakdancing and makes it completely unpredictable, known as the Breaker style. Both of these characters can also use a weapon which can be won from a mini game, found in certain locations or can be purchased.
You can switch between all these four styles by using the D-pad of your controller and can mix the moves as the battle goes on. The fighting style you choose also depends on the environment you are currently in. For Example, when taking on a bunch of opponents you can use Kazuma’s Beast style or can even activate the Heat action in which he swings his opponent and uses him to bash the others. When the heat action gets activated, it is actually fun to watch.
Most of the times, in the game, when you are not fighting you will be mixing up with people wandering the streets and it is really amazing how good a job Sega has done. You can run your business, help others with their life problems or entertain yourself with various mini games. There are various things in the to-do list which you may find questionable but that is merely the cultural difference you encounter in various countries.
You can even find places in the game where you can watch softcore videos where Japanese women are rubbing their bodies with bubbles. Oh of course, they are wearing bikini, didn’t I say softcore. Some may find these videos cringing while others may, let’s just say, enjoy themselves. Although, these activities are optional you will get reminded of them every time you come across the collectible cards of these women.
You can also chat with women over a phone, fortunately, the interaction in this case is two way. There are places filled with Space Harrier Cabinets and Playable Claw machines. You can do karaoke or go disco dancing, play shogi or bet on underground women wrestling leagues, or may simply play darts or pool in a pub. Yakuza 0 is filled with such mini games where you are sure to get distracted and get lost.
Truthfully, the combat in this game is pretty basic, flashy, but basic. But, for the Yakuza 0 Review I would say that the game is no less than amazing. It will keep you hooked for all the right reasons. The plot doesn’t go boring, you get attached with the characters, the mini-games are interesting and it can make you laugh and cry and go mad at the same time. I will go with 4.5 out of 5 for this game.

The reboot named Tomb Raider presented a new origin story that remade Lara as a more plausible character, fallen into the violent business of supernatural archaeology as the result of a shipwreck. The reboot was well received but it still had some flaws. 3 Years down the line the much awaited finally arrives. Let’s find out if it manages to fix its predecessors short comings.

Though Rise of the Tomb Raider wastes little time in getting Lara into the thick of a brand new adventure, it’s still burdened by much of its predecessor’s baggage. Following in her archaeologist father’s footsteps, the younger Croft travels to Siberia to find “the Divine Source,” a legendary artifact said to grant immortality. Alternating between the perilous first steps of her journey and flashbacks to the days leading up to her departure, the game immediately demonstrates a far greater understanding of compelling dramatic structure than 2013’s Tomb Raider. The plot moves forward with welcome momentum, mixing quiet scenes of exploration with fast-paced action sequences.

The writing used to relate all of this is edgy. The dialogue is blunt and monotone. Despite many of the actors’ commendable efforts to sell their lines, the story remains too brusque and formulaic to stay compelling beyond the first few hours of set-up. More disappointingly, Lara, still poised to fully become the self-assured adventurer the previous game only partially moved her towards, develops very little as a character, her actions and personality still defined more by her father than herself.

When the story fades to the background and the player is left only to climb, jump, swim, and shoot through the world, Rise of the Tomb Raider is much stronger. Largely the game impresses most on the basis of detailed character animations and solid art design. Moving from snowy mountain ranges to the ruins of Byzantine villages, Lara’s journey is consistently varied and visually stunning. Small details inform the centuries of history that have shaped the region, providing a sense of archaeological discovery far better than the explicit storytelling. It’s hard to overstate how much of Rise’s success is due to its visual design.

And this makes it unfortunate that the beauty of the world is frequently diminished by the constant presence of collectible items, littered around the environment to the point of distraction. The mechanical requirements of unnecessary crafting systems and a glut of pick-ups make it necessary for the player to frequently hit a button to ping Lara’s heightened senses. Rise’s collectables seem like fluff in the first place, but, when looking for them makes the screen’s vivid colors drain and loud yellow outlines ruin the great-looking landscapes, they begin actively diminishing the art design—one of the game’s strongest suits.

All of this ties in to the sense that Rise of the Tomb Raider is torn between the desire to be either a free-form exploration game or a more tightly directed sequence of interactive action scenes. When the game shifts into the latter mode, it’s exceptional. Crystal Dynamics has a real talent for the construction and pacing of harrowing gun battles and nail-biting escapes from physical danger. But, when these sequences pass and the player is left to wander an open world overstuffed with collectables, it loses sight of the kind of experience its developer seems suited to creating.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a marked improvement over its predecessor, but it’s also a game whose foundations—narrative and mechanic—would benefit greatly from further reinvention. HGunified recommends Rise of the Tomb Raider as it is the perfect sequel to Tomb Raider even with its flaws. (8/10)

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition for PC

“I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard. Always taking constant care not to break something. To break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control for even a moment or someone could die.” - Superman
We all remember these famous words of the Superman portraying his careful nature not to hurt even his enemies. But what would happen if this changes and the Earth’s guardian Angel turns against this very belief. What devastation would befell upon the fragile people of Earth if Superman with his infinite deadly power desired to rule this planet instead of watching over it?
Netherrealm Studios - the studio behind the legendary fighting game Mortal Kombat cooked out a subtle comic book way for this to happen garnished with a multiverse dimension hopping storyline in the game Injustice: Gods Among Us.
The game gives a detailed storyline that develops along the very lines of the heroes and the villains trying to break sweat (and at times bones too) in order to prevent the ultimate fall of Earth to the tyrant hands of Superman who has lost all faith in the humanity. The game has done what feels like almost an impossible stunt to pull for most fighting games: write an interesting story plot to bind the gamer to the game. We have witnessed Superman’s “retirement” in Kingdome Come and also seen his destructive powers whilst he was being mind controlled, but never before have we seen this super being do something substantial enough that the very Bats rise against Supes! This isn’t about some crazy alien who just needs a place to call home – it’s about a GOD who his hell bent on taking away the free will of his disciples – the Earthlings and fellow guardians!
Let us talk about the fighting experience and characters of the game first. If you have played Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition before, then you will feel right at home using the four button configuration to bring down the wrath of characters. The game has 30 different characters including the Justice League’s original cast from DC Comic world. Kevin Conroy as the Dark Knight himself and George Newbern as Superman in the game do not fail to surprise us as it cements the game’s beliefs emerging from the original Justice League series itself. The close-ups on the main characters good and the quality compares pretty well to the most recent animated series but the crispness of the in-fight characters seem to get lost whilst they try to smash and break each other. The game offers most of the variants of characters right from DC world – another classic maneuver by Netherrealm Studios. The only thing that seemed disappointing to us was the lack of that awesome streak from the visual dip especially when the game is a high end next generation fighting game running heavy straight at 1080p and 60 fps. The detailed environment instead of making it sharper and smoother results in a fighter that looks somewhat less impressive that we would have imagined it in our minds to be. The game is certainly not distorted with ugly images but just misses the mark of perfection by just a bit.
Coming over to the character controller, each character has three basic attacks controlled by three buttons including light, medium and heavy attacks and a special quick power button. The quick power button (default J key) varies for every character like Batman summons 3 robo-droids, Wonder woman switches over between her lasso and sword-shield, The Flash can perambulate to his speed world where the movement of opponents become slow for a period of time. There are also many unique combinations of these buttons along with movement keys that can summon upon varied damage yielding attacks. There is also a power gauge which fills up with time and when it fills up you can unleash a devastating and the most deadly character specific carnage attack. Another feature that we found worth mentioning here is the use of interactive stage settings. There are 15 stage settings and each of the stage can change over to a sub stage, thus in all there are 30 stages for the ultimate battle between these “Gods”. There are many deadly props like rockets, shields, boxes, etc. that you can use to give your opponent a painful jolt that can’t be blocked. Many may see this a disadvantage that these attacks are unblockable but we found this rather fun as it adds to the notoriety level of the game. Also with a perfectly timed kick you can throw you opponent bouncing off into the sub stage yielding a considerable fall in your opponent’s HP. It was fun seeing Joker bouncing off the bat cave walls as Bats gave a kick in his guts sending him into the dark depths of the cave. You shall indeed feel like a superhero while bringing down havoc onto your opponents with this interactive stage settings.
Apart from the spell bound story mode there are other interesting modes to keep you occupied for a long time like: S.T.A.R. labs, Training, Battles with countless number of sub stipulations like Classic mode etc. S.T.A.R. labs offers various character specific missions. It won’t really prepare you for the real combat but sure is a good way to know the combos of your character. The practice mode provides a good way to train a particular character and get yourself comfortable with the various moves and combos of that character. Repeated move practice can sure buff up your character with easy handling and better timing of the attacks. There are a number of stipulated battle variations in the Battle mode where you can select characters from Heroes only (or villains only), fight with poison running through your veins or even take on multiple enemies each fight starting without replenishing your HP. The battle mode indeed offers various challenges that you can take head on directly and this mode indeed shall keep you occupied and binds your interest in the game even after you finish the 8 hour long story.
You might face some problems if you are a newbie playing your first fighting game as the first time game training only provides a very basic move set and information about the 3 different types of attacks and the wager clash and super power move which at some time might seem insufficient to new players. Another downside that we found was that you are on your own when it comes to figure out how the controls and the alternate configuration of control works and the absence of replays and frame data adds up to the complexity. However, once you get in sync with the game play the Injustice will not disappoint you at any point.
The multiplayer mode of the game is a completely different story though. This mode is still in its de-novo state as the online matchmaking often is not successful and the wait to find opponents to fight against is usually long and even if a match is found, there is a considerable amount of lag that makes the multiplayer playing experience scarred with a lot to be desired. The KingOfTheHill and the Survival Modes may offer a great prospect in the future but if these issues won’t get solved then these are not a definite attraction of the game rather a disappointment.
The game has many series of labyrinths to be conquered by the player slowing unlocking and unfolding its mysteries as it progresses. It will surely keep your interest locked into the game even when you are away from it. It would be a big Injustice to the Injustice if we say that the game gets monotonous after a point because the endless wanton destruction is a lot of fun! Injustice: Gods Among Us is a hardcore fighting game that shall hit your head just in the right place to release your gaming hormones making this hot bogey a real catch. The fighting experience is never aloof from the ultimate fun as Injustice continues to maintain such a magical spell on the players throughout the game which would be heartbreaking to see it lift off.

CS:GO Review
"You suck man! You are such a noob!" these are some of the common words you get to hear

when you begin playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO from here on). From my

experience, these cynical words will help you to passage well and gain skills in this unending

adventure. CS:GO is a FPS created by Valve Corporation and Hidden Path Entertainment. It

is the fourth amusement in the primary Counter-Strike establishment discharged on August

21, 2013. The game is accessible for Windows, Mac, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Well there are certainly great days ahead for the crippled OS X clients after such a tremendous discharge

by Valve. Being a Mac and additionally Windows client, I didn't recognise any significant

distinction in the OS X and Windows variant which calls for an enormous round of acclaim

for the engineers of this diversion.

In the event that you are an old Counter-Strike player, you will notice hell amount of

difference in this new instalment. CS:GO incorporates second to none graphics, maps,

weapons, matchmaking or energising new weapon skins. Talking about the gameplay, like the

previous games in this series, Global Offensive is a goal based multiplayer first-person shooter.

Each player joins either the Terrorist or Counter-Terrorist team and attempts to complete

objectives or eliminate the enemy team. Players purchase weapons and equipment at the

beginning of every round with money awarded based on their performance. Completing

objectives or killing enemies earns the player money while negative actions, like killing a

teammate or hostage, takes money away from the player. In addition, when a round ends all

players receive some amount of money, with players on the winning team receiving

substantially more.

For the past 12 years, Counter-Strike has continued to be one of the most played online game

with around hundred-thousands players virtually killing one another everyday. Currently,

Global Offensive features 5 game modes for online play namely: Competitive, Casual,

Deathmatch, Arms Race and Demolition. It additionally offers 2 logged off modes: Offline

with Bots and Weapons Course which proves to be useful for honing. Casual and Competitive

being Counter-Strike's most well-known game modes, both including Defuse and Hostage

missions. At the end of each game (online modes), on the off chance that you are fortunate,

you periodically get drop which typically comprises of Weapon Boxes, Sticker Capsules or

Guns. That being said, the downside is that to open a container or a sticker case you are

obliged to purchase keys from the Steam Market while the firearm that is typically dropped

has an obsolete skin. Rare Items (Knifes, Asiimov, Redline) or StatTrak™ weapons are never

dropped in the game, you need to attempt your fortunes and open Weapon Cases or purchase

it from the Steam Marketplace (Which costs several dollars). You can additionally earn cash

by offering these items at the commercial centre.

Global Offensive supports matchmaking and leaderboards for all online game modes, provided

by Steam. The provided online service offers the ability to filter by game modes, maps and a

built-in Steam friend system. Valve also employs Valve Anti-Cheat, which can automatically

remove and ban hackers from the Valve online network. To match players of similar skill

levels in the competitive mode for an enjoyable experience, the game uses an Elo rating

system. You get your rank after you have won 10 matches; in light of the fact that by then the

game can analyse your gaming capability and can put you among the class you fit best.

It is believed that you can rank up only after winning 4 to 5 games continuously. While losing

the same amount of games can degrade your rank (something to cry about).

An alternate fascinating truth about this game is that you get to watch International teams

battling against one another in order to gain the top position in the CS:GO championships.

You can watch them live on www.twitch.tv. Investigating these groups play can help you

sharpen your abilities. Furthermore, on the off chance that you have enthusiasm towards

wagering, you can try your fortune on www.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.com. Some of the top international

teams incorporate Ninjas in Pajamas, Virtus.pro, Titan and Dignitas.

If you are a first-time player, don’t be disheartened, there is a long way for you to go till you

finally hit the G-spot. I recollect my days as an amateur, I truly sucked! Getting low frags and

high deaths. There are some essential technicalities that you must be acquainted with. Here

are a couple of tips that may help you become a pro for which you can thank me later.

• Common spots :- Playing a map over and over will help you recognise common spots.

These are the spots where you can stow away for AWP-ing, tossing smokes and flashes, or

basic concealing spot of your foe group.

• Knowing your firearm :- You must be acquainted with your firearms. AK is the most

powerful weapon after AWP, marksman prefer it for it’s lethal one hit headshot. M4 carbine

has low recoil but gives low damage as compared to the AK. Word to the wise: Practice.

• Aim for the head :- Your crosshair should always be at head level. Have a go at shooting for the head wherever conceivable.

• Spray pattern :- Every gun has a different spray pattern. You must be familiar with the

recoil of the firearms you play with. Control the spread and you are just half a step away

from being an ace.

• Nade physics :- Science controls everything, grenades follow law of motion in the game as

well. Moving forward and throwing your nade at 45 degrees will make your nade cover the

largest distance possible. Work on tossing nades from diverse points, over the buildings, over

the shoulders, et cetera. Smoke grenades help you pass from an AWPer's sight. Flash before

you rush, never get yourself into a firefight.

• Preshooting :- This is an essential strategy to excel in CS:GO. Preshoot areas where you

think your enemy could be hiding. To know such areas, you ought to be acquainted with the

common spots in the map.

• Sidestep shooting :- This is a master level strategy. You are most accurate when you stand

still and most vulnerable when you are out in the open. So the most ideal path is to starfe

shoot. Press A and D keys alternatively and exactly when you halt (you stop for a

millisecond when you switch between the keys), SHOOT! Adjust your aim so that you hit

the head. If you perfect this approach, you are all set to be the next lever gamer.

• Economy rounds :- This is an important strategy in competitive games. Rather than

purchasing pointless weapons, save and purchase the following round.

Never forget, practice makes a man perfect. Continue drilling and strategising. Conversation

plays an important factor in the game. Always be informed about the locations of your

enemy. You should be able to read you radar properly. Follow the command and shoot for the

head.

I have attempted my best to blanket everything conceivable. I will continue including new

stuff whenever possible. Enjoy the game and play as a team rather than as an individual.

Grid autosport is a successor of Grid 2 which was released 12 months ago. Improved and enhanced version of this game has been released by CodeMasters which proved divisive. The familiarities of earlier versions have been carried forward but every extra ounce of weight has been removed. Though the fiction is changed but the autosport still remains the main concern for the players. The grid's trademark i.e. the Flashback system is still retained which helps to alleviate the frustrations.

It is different from earlier versions in various different ways. To name a few- there are no longer any team-mates to hire and fire (although you still race with one and can tell them to defend or drive more aggressively using the shoulder buttons), no team management elements (you just choose contracts from other teams instead) and your career has been abstracted into a non-linear jaunt through five disciplines.

New features like Endurance and Open wheel events have proved to be exciting. Tuner has been included which is a multidisciplinary which comprises of muscle cars, time trials and drifting. To put the player on tight, angular city tracks with poor sight lines, the street discipline has been included.

To proceed in level hierarchy, players need to take part in any event that leads to earning of a new XP in a discipline. This not only will help the player to rise but also offers more lucrative grid championships. care should be taken in such a way that whenever an event is to be selected, the player must also chose an offer from a team to race for during that season.

Despite team targets, there are also six sponsor objectives each season which include things like improving on your lap time during a race or finishing without any collisions. To earn more XP the player just needs to Tick the box and there are further bonuses for setting the fastest lap, beating your rival, and restricting yourself to in-car views.

With so many XP that a player gains on the way, the focus is shifted from the podium. The game is designed in such a way that even if a player comes last, it will still prove to be a contribution to the career progress.

Grid 2's handling was bold and brash but autosport's handling is a constant pleasure. It is more about refinement in which most of the cars turn with satisfying weighty understeer. Once you learn when to lean on the accelerator and how heavy you foot should be, you will easily advance on the leader board.

The Grid Autosport is entirely convincing which has been created keeping in mind the core fans of the game. Despite all the criticisms faced, the later version has been able to make a mark in the hearts of the players. Codemasters has created this to make you feel like a competitive driver than ever before.
