Early Access Review
The Outlast Trials is a great game of horror and dread best experienced with a group of friends. Teamwork and strategy will is key to have the best results in each trial.

To provide replayability, the game introduces a skill and leveling system. This system is a little lacking, as some upgrades should be available to everyone such as a slide or kicking. Some of the skills are also so good, that some trials are near impossible without the team having it, such as the stamina/endurance upgrades.

The game also put the lore/story to the side, and is very difficult to find from random dossiers in the maps, rather than the more active storytelling that the previous Outlast games give you. But this development is natural, as you are expected to play the same maps multiple times, and storytelling would grow repetitive.

Good recommendation to groups of friends, a small recommendation to the solo player.

This game is definitely the best of the wizarding world games. You get the student experience, explore the world around Hogwarts castle and interact with the people and creates of the world. Although some things are pretty limited such as the basic RPG elements or the character creator. It is near impossible to recreate yourself unless you look exactly like the presets or have 1 in 50 of the hairstyles. You can choose between a light or deep voice with a pitch option, but the pitch is pretty bad.

If you are looking for an open world RPG, this game will be very average. However if you are a fan of the genre and the world, there is definitely a lot of fun to be had with this game.

If you decide to play the game, I would also recommend looking into the modding scene, as these can provide great quality of life improvements or even spice up the difficulty, as it can be a bit lacking for experienced players.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a genre-defining RPG. Like Dark Souls gave way for "soulsborne" games, Skyrim has set an expectation for open world RPGs. It is also one of the most modded games by the community, and can offer a huge amount of playtime and fun for fans of the genre. It is also quite easy to replay the game with a different character, as you can progress your character in several different ways. The world is even open enough, that you don't have to follow the same path for each playthrough.

It is easy to meme on Bethesda and especially on Fallout. This game has had a rocky start with questionable design choices and a lot of bugs.

But as of this review, the game is in a much better state. It does however have some very sought after quality of life improvements locked behind a paywall. And even some gameplay altering benefits available for purchase in the in-game shop. But the game is PvE. So I can only see the quality of life being the negative.

The game is also still being actively updated, with some periods of slower developement. Just recently, Bethesda removed a major bug that was asked for since the year of launch, making the general experience with other players much more pleasant.

There is still some things to do to make this game better, but it is heading that way, and any fans of loot-n-shoot games with character progression or post-apocalyptic base builders should at least give this one a try.

This game is like Tabletop Simulator, but for escape rooms. The levels are divided into main levels and community created levels. The main levels themselves have a very nice difficulty, that slowly increases from each completed level. The community levels are a bit of a gamble though, as the difficulty has a very high variation. In cases of very high difficulty, some levels provide hints or has a walkthrough video available on Youtube which can help.

It is certainly best with friends, but as the game recommends keep it to 2-3 players total. Otherwise you risk not getting to actually solve the puzzles.

With just the main levels, it is possible to play for several hours until completion. With the addition of community levels, there are hundreds of hours waiting for those who love escape rooms or puzzles in general.

There's a bunch of explosive and bullet-raining fun to be had with Borderlands 3. The characters are distinct, but has the same "pre-decided" class builds as Borderlands 2. The truly new mechanic since Borderlands 2 are the pets, and the clumsiness of AI makes these unreliable. Disregarding the story, there is many hours of fun to be had with the mindset of collecting guns and testing them with different builds and characters. Just don't expect a lot of variety if having the best is your thing. Lastly, I would recommend getting this during a sale and only get DLC if the main game is not enough for you.

One of my favorite games of all time. Bought this gem since release, and the updates really kept this game interesting for a very long time. Definitely worth its price, and great with friends.

Update: The game still receives updates, now is the best time to play Terraria!

A game that brings a whole new spin on combat, putting it in the center of gameplay. A very cool game.
