Pros:
1) the engine is buttery smooth
2) the gameplay feels great
3) enemies are interesting and use distinct attack patterns

Cons:
1) Very grindy. Gets pretty dull going through the same area over and over to complete "different" missions that all amount to: kill all the things, don't die, interact with mcguffin
2) Business model is beyond messy and predatory, to the extent that they're looking to remove paid content to the deficit of the story. They've shown how much they care about the story vs how much they care about the money.

My take: I've tried several times to get into the game. I love how it feels. I hate how repetitive it is, and I hate how much they want money for EVERYTHING. Before you start saying "it's free to play", I purchased the game before it went f2p. No, I haven't played much. I tried. It just didn't draw me in. YMMV

Cleans up the OG version nicely. Same bizarro story. You already either love it or hate it.

If you like Tower Defense games, this one translates well between mobile and PC. Not as advanced as some of the big names. Still good.

Picture a mixup of Fallout 1, 2, Tactics, and the Fallout 3 Van Buren Alpha Build, and you essentially get this game.
