This game is an amazingly rich Autobattler mixed with FTL Timing and strategy mixed with Slay the Spire Deck building. Worth every dollar, you'll get more then your value out of this game! Super fun game play loop of Looking at the board of enemies, placing your units (you can have some control once placed also), seeing what cards you have in your hand for the next 7 seconds and the new round starts, the ability to play your cards mid battle, timed down to the last millisecond , including my favourite feature, PAUSE. Lets you strategize your cards and time your attacks and buffs perfectly to get out of most situation. Millions of interesting combinations of team traits that are easy to understand, and yet once you start playing, sometimes you come across some super over powered combinations, But it's a great feeling. The game difficultly ramps up great plus gives you options to play harder and harder play throughs. Weekly challenges really mix things up and keeps things fresh. The ability not only to play through the 3 different class of characters, but opens the game up for you to create your own CUSTOM hero complete with any mix of powers you want and the ability to custimize your deck. Want to try out different combos...go for it and see how far you get. I put in hundreds of hours over the past few years even with just one class at the start because the game play loop was soo good and fun from day one. Decently quick runs, but you can always leave and come back to the round you left. The developer is really on the ball for suggestions and bug fixes etc to be put into a future patch really quick. No brainer, value. Fun game that should keep you entertained for years to come.

Epic Value. Great game play, fun progression, great twist on some of a few different genres. Well worth the money, you'll get more then enough play out of the few dollars they're asking.

600 hours of gameplay thus far and years later keep returning to it ever so often for many runs. Tight game play, epic loot combo system that makes you want to try so many new combos. And now there's a ton of mods for it that I could try out im sure for another 500+ hours. Worth every penny.

So much fun even at this stage. FTL and BSG (Episode "33") had a baby and boom this is it. The Dev team (and big boss man himself ) is actively reacting and responding in Discord. Look forward to the new patches as the game adds sectors and expands things out to flesh out the game. Got more then my money's worth thus far and and this feels like it's only started and will get better ;) for years.

Steam will say this is off topic when in fact its very on topic, the game is no longer playable, thus equal bad score.I have to rate this as low as possible until I can actually play it again. I went from being a proud Canadian of a smaller studio making a great northern looking and feeling game to not being able to play it on my newest computer of choice. The dev's took away the ability for me to play the game and and to buy more content when I got to the end of the part that I paid for. They for some reason think it's ok to determine which computer people play it on, be it a Dell, or HP, or an nVidia machine that I'm using. When Geforce go came out I wanted to see which games in my library I've paid for would work. Once I logged into my steam account I found that indeed The Long Dark did work and it was great. I hadn't played it since they actually finished the story years ago. I was hooked and was fully anticipating playing through and buying more content when I heard from all places the internet that some dev took their game off for some silly reason. I don't know how they can take their game off the computer I was using to play their game or why but they did.

Please I want my money back AND you wont be getting any more purchases from me. If you can take your game back and not let me play it, then I can take back my purchase. How about be big boys and girls and decent Canadians, if you really are one, and do the right thing. Let us play the game we paid for, that is already controlled by steam verification that it's my copy I'm accessing. Let me play it, enjoy it, and earn the right for me to buy more of it instead of taking your game away from me.

Great Game. A must buy if on sale for sure. During summer sale its dumb not to get it at this price. Made me want to get back into the lore of Shadowrun. Much like Xcom. Story had a few interesting endings (all text based mind you, stories) But the choices they make you go through really challenges your mind as to how you want to play your character because they have some pretty dynamic results so you're really always second guessing yourself (in a good way) Like damm, I should of said something else , I feel like a Jerk etc. But the well writen endings are top notch too. Gut checking sick sometimes.

Great Moba style game but with Space Navel ship classes. Slower pace then normal moba with heros etc, you're moving your Space navel ship and they're big and slower to turn etc. Great team fights. Cover your friend with your shields.

I'd highly suggest this game. And join the dedicated community on their teamspeak server (not the official one that's down)
