Early Access Review
This games quite amazing. I don't buy Alpha games as a rule because of too many failed games but I took a chance on this one. I was seeing a lot of updates from 2014 but I then realized all those updates must have been when the game was just released. Looking at the games update history, the game is updated at least twice a month give or take which makes me feel very confident in my purchase. Even if the game isn't completely finished (please do. I want to find TImmy and bash his head in for all the pain he's put me through and be able to have a water boat house in multiplayer) I'm still quite happy with the game.

Most are cons but it's mainly with what's broken with the game at the moment. I'm very confident that the developers will hopefully get around to these issues in the future.

Pros:
- Looks absolutely lovely!
- It's an adult version of Minecraft, really

Cons
- There's a lag on multiplayer for those not hosting a game. Sometimes the host can see things others cannot
- The caves are horrid. Only half seem to work while the other half is clipped to hell and back. I'm not too concerned as I'm assuming these are being constantly worked on.
- I feel like more scary cannibals are needed. There was only one time that I jumped. I would appreciate maybe putting some 'secret' special nightly cannibals in there to make things a bit more horrifying
- Sometimes markers stop working for both the host and participants.
- May be a pro or con, but since the new update, on multiplayer, if you open a suitcase and you grab what's inside, your buddy can no longer grab what's inside either. I'm still debating on whether this is a hindrance or not.

Pros:
- Young Doc was terribly adorable.
- I appreciated that Christopher Lloyd reprised his role as Doc (and MFox did a cameo in Ep 5)
- The Opening/Ending mirrored the movies (which made everything feel lovely)
- The story was interesting
- Playing the game got easier to navigate

Cons:
- The story stopped being interesting after Ep 3
- It was hard to control Marty in Eps 1/2
- Ep 5 can be summarized as: 'finding/killing doc then being the inbetweener between a familly argument because no one is willing to talk to one another' (no spoilers in that sentence, don't worry)
- Ep 3 can be summarized as 'doing nothing while you run around talking to people then the story ends'
- The animation was so off at times. Sometimes simple things like a WALK CYCLE was not done correctly and Marty looked like he was walking with straight legs
- Sometimes the animation stops or the dialogue stops while the animation catches up
- The ending feels like an absolute cop out

I know this is one of TellTales older games but I was expecting development from ep1 to ep5 (such as game mechanics getting better). But it feels unpolished. Simple things, such as making sure that a walking cycle looks believable shouldn't be neglected in any game, even if it's coming from an indie developer.

I really love Back to the Future but this didn't feel like what the franchise deserved. It's more of a causal game than an 'adventure game' since I basically did nothing but walk Marty from place to place.

tl;dr: Doc gets a new girlfriend and then the story gets dull. The end.

3 days in and this review is coming from someone who's only played Fallout 3 for a few hours yet Skyrim for 200+.

PROS
- The map is vast. I love a good map in where I can see it, I can explore it. I enjoy all the little goodies I'm finding (hidden outhouses, random people with backstories. Still waiting on findind a corpse on a toilet though)
- I'm enjoying the storyline so far. I felt 3 had a stronger storyline but this is okay too

CONS
- I don't like how you can't run when you're building your town. If I have to go all the way from one side to the other I would prefer to bolt over there to save some time.
- Bugs. I am hitting so many bugs. Sometimes my pip-boys screen doesn't show up. Sometimes my gun disappears, sometimes people melt into the ground. Everytime I hit a bug that prevents me from playing (like disappearing pip-boy screen) I have to restart the game and it fixes the problem. It's an annoying work around but I'm very trusting that Bethseda will patch the game soon.
- I'm not sure why we can't sneak/lockpick like we can in Skyrim. If you encountered a Master lock in Skyrim, even if you were a novice you were allowed to try to pick it. I've come across several lockpicks where my character just refuses to pick it. I have more than enough bobby pins to try to pick it, COMMON
And I know my sneak is horribly low but even if I make one subtle movement suddenly I awaken a whole nest of rogues and now I have a damn problem on my hands
- The different types of weapons is... something left to be desired. So far I think FO3 had more guns than FO4 has
- Audio. Whenever my dog finds something and barks I go to where the bark comes from yet the dog isn't there. He's either on the other side of the area or somewhere I can't see. Same goes with anything that speaks. If someone speaks (rogue, ghoul, villager), sometimes it sounds like they're right behind me when I know they aren't and are in fact on the other side of the area.
- My dog in Fable 2 is actually better than this dog tbh
- Not sure about anyone else but the games graphics is also throttling my system. I literally have to turn everything off, have the settings to the lowest they can go and it still chugs every now and then. Not sure if this is a rendering issue or just hardware on my end but I've noted other people have been having this issue too.
- I still haven't found a corpse on a toilet

I'm still giving this game about two weeks before I really decide but so far, BESIDES the bugs (that I feel either Bethseda or the modding community will fix. I trust u gais and your hard work), it's enjoyable. Just gotta wait for the patches now.

I love this game. I love on this game. So. Hard. It's one of my favorites if not because of how nice the gameplay is, but because of all the 'colorful' characters you meet. Not just the heroes are colorful, but the bandits, random NPCs, crazy bosses, all of them are just down-to-Earth crazy. I felt incredibly satisfied once the main story was over and I just continued playing into the DLC's which are amazing. Tiny Tina's quest DLC is very long but it's the silliest damn thing ever. Hands down, I will always recommend this game which was a step up from the first one.

*Will edit this after game completion
**Highly suggest this one if you do not own Last Light. It comes with all the DLC's for the first version!

*Update 8/30
Slowly finding bugs. Not terribly significant.
- Texture maps in Facility level bugging out
- A model in Seperation started walking then his legs stopped in mid air as the top half of the model kept going. The legs were frozen in midair then reset itself. Couldn't get a snapshot of this because it went too fast (but it was funny as hell).

I just finished the first Last Light when I learned Redux was about to come out two days after. I instantly bought it hoping for additional content (beyond the DLC's). So far I haven't seen much difference between the two games (not even a new menu format. Poo :c ). The graphics are still the same (a bit brighter though). So far, no bugs (although it was difficult to get it to launch for a quick second), audio glitches or anything weird happening. Only thing I wish could happen is to skip the intro sequence. It's too long for my taste. :[

I went in not expecting a lot since I didn't want any good or bad opinions to sway my thoughts on the game. By the time I finished it (hard mode) I was tired and felt the final boss was deserving. It has been the only game so far where I HAD to switch from keyboard to game controller because the controls were just too much for a keyboard. I felt the graphics were a bit over saturated in some areas but the monsters were damn amazing. Whenever they taunted Dante made it feel more personal rather than just being random. The bosses were really cool and honestly were some of the coolest bosses in any game I've ever played. The only one that I could say kind of faultered was Bob the anchor. He was a bit too easy to beat but that's just nitpicking at this point.

I enjoyed the storyline for Dante as well as the art used before a chapter loaded and that for Dantes trigger, they basically tipped their hats to the old Dante and used silver hair/red coat for his trigger. Vergil's downfall was unfortunately a bit quicker but it was a good DLC too. I didn't like the art but it was great to see what happened to Vergil after the game was over.

DmC was a great reboot for the DMC franchise. However, I would suggest that the fans of the older games look at this new game in a different light. I looked at this game thinking this was Dante but in an alternate universe. It made the game easier to play and easier to accept and I was able to really look at it with new eyes rather than comparing it to the old games. Total yes to anyone thinking of it. Even if you're not a fan of DmC the gameplay is pretty awesome. One of the hardest games I've had to play in a long time.

Hands down, a kick ass game. I actually went into this game mistakenly thinking it was a horror but it wasn't. It was kind of a survival-horror with a really great (but sometimes weird?) backstory. There aren't many monsters but after looking at the effort put into creating the environments as well as the flashback horror bits you get, the lack of monsters is welcoming. Monsters aren't needed to make a game scary, a good atmosphere and certain companions can flip a game upside down.

This game is absolutely a nice FPS with stealth attached. If you're not really digging the weapons (or small arsenal you obtain throughout the game which becomes REALLY handy) then hopefully you'll at least take in the environments as well as the story that goes behind this game. Some of the flashbacks are gut wrenching as well as upsetting when you think this is a glimpse of what could actually happen in our lives.

The DLC's are a bit too short for me (Pavel's needs to be longer!) but it's a good in-sight to what the NPCs are doing while Artyom's away.

I was really revved up for this game since I'm a fan of Dark Shadows but this was... really lackluster in comparison.

Tech wise, the game was way too high def. I can max Skyrim (with mods turned on) on Ultra, Tomb Raider on High and ect. on my computer but I couldn't even MOVE with Thief even on NORMAL settings! Early on in the game I experienced glitches that kept getting worse throughout gameplay. Characters spinning around in a circle, models in the T position, characters stuck when on high alert mode. There were also some whacked out audio levels. Music was low, SFX mid and character voices higher but some character voices you would hear off in the distance (like during an angry mob crowd) then suddenly BOOMING VOICE RIGHT THERE of another mob character. Sometimes I couldn't even HEAR Garrett earlier when he talked!

Gameplay, w ooow. I enjoyed the mechanics but it was too easy. I was playing on Master mode and everything was just mostly simple. I was expecting better responses from the NPCs but it mostly got a bit harder at the end but that was it. The monsters too? I was disappointed in them. The final battle? Holy CRAP was I disappointed. That was honestly one of the easiest boss battles I'd ever fought and I was hella disappointed. Hella. The second to last boss was actually HARDER than the final one.

I really enjoy this franchise. I had a lot of fun sneaking around and thinking of ways of getting around but I was honestly expecting something better /especially/ since Square Enix, although published it, has their name on it and after seeing the trailers, screenshots and demos, I expected something awesome. Really awesome. But nah, it just became a rated B game, unfortunately.

I only recommend if you're a fan of Thief and just want to see Garrett again (<3) or are a fan of stealth games. Give it a shot otherwise this is one to just buy on discount.

I loved, loved, loved this game. It felt like I was in an action movie the entire time and when I thought the game was over, nope, it kept going. I've never played a Tomb Raider game in my life before but if this is what Lara Croft is all about, I'm up for whatever Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have in store for the future if they plan on making any more additions. There are few downsides to this, however. Hard mode wasn't 'hard mode'. It was more 'let me take you by the hand, player, because we're going to baby sit you.' I didn't feel that challenged by this games hard mode at all which was depressing. I also didn't like that once you cleared the game, there was nothing else left. There were no enemies lurking around (once you've offed all of them they don't respawn) so returning back to areas I'd missed things was more of a chore than anything. The DLC's were very lackluster as well (I have not played multiplayer so I will not comment). I was hoping for maybe a map addition but instead all I could get was a tomb addition. At best, this was a cinematic game, not a 'game game' to me since I wasn't challenge by it. I was just placed into a movie and told what to do. But aside from that, I loved every minute of it.
