WAY Better than OW2

This game has ruined other ARPGs for me. I genuinely don't think I can go back to click-move ARPGs ever again, adding WASD movement was something I didnt think would matter too much but holy hell I love it. And this is coming from someone who, while I dont have thousands of hours in other ARPGs, I have thousands of hours in League of Legends since 2012, so im no stranger to click-move.

The game is great, but it has some flaws. Namely online play.

The game doesn't lend itself to be 'balanced' so there is a lot of jank and cheese and stuff to abuse, with characters and abilities far stronger than others, clearly intended by the devs. If you play online 95% of the time you'll run into the same 4 or so characters, because they have any com combination of broken/strong abilities, the highest health pool, unblockable supers moves, etc.

Not to mention it seems like a lot of online playerbase have a fragile ego because they will just quit out before you win on them, effectively making the match a 'draw' where they don't lose ranked points, nor you gain ranked points. And it's the players abusing the above that do it. Seemingly there is little punishment for this behavior as well so there is no downside to it as of yet, Bandi claims to have people banned after so many repeat quit-outs, but I have yet to hear or witness such.

Online fun exists, just don't expect it most of the time. You effectively have to create your own fun, or play with friends. Don't expect people to have mercy because you want to try a funny DP match of Solo Mr Satan.

Outside online, it's truly a great game. Episode Battles and What If scenarios, Custom Battles to play and make to your hearts content. And the game is just stunning to look at.

I usually don't play JRPGs but I love fighting games so I played Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, so this is my first step into more of Granblue (havn't played the mobile game) and I really like the setting and characters. Very fun and good looking game.

Short but fun, but it's also meant for replaying a bunch as well.

The inventory management can be annoying with the lack of a storage box but it's still a really solid game. Plus there is a storage box mod out there anyway if you really need it.
