The game is great and all, but where are the vampires?

EDIT: As of 31.10.2024 there are indeed vampires in the game.

One of the best tactical RPGs with a not so great main plot.

Not being its sequel is its biggest flaw.

What a game! It is as good and satisfying, as it is janky and unfair. Filled to the brim with Larian's dark humor, both in its stories and gameplay. Let's be honest, you don't play this game for the main plot - you play it to see what next blows in your face and challenges you to break it. Compared to the first one, combat is more polished, inventory management and crafting are still painful to work through and available companions are way, way better.

Style does not compensate weak gameplay.

A great addition to the singleplayer deckbuilding rougelite pantheon.

Sometimes "NES hard" goes in too hard. Exploration is slow and annoying. Most of moving platforms and enemies are set up to slow the experience to a crawl. Not fun.
