TL;DR - It's not perfect, but it's damn fun, especially for the price.

It's very much Xcom distilled to it's basics. The new stuff is fun, freshens the experience, the aliens are fantastic as an addition, the characters, voice acting and art is fab.

All around, pretty damn great.
