At first you might look at how many hours I've played this game. It's kinda misleading, and that's why I wanted to start with the fact, that I've played this game on the PS2 since I was a kid, and I still play till this day because I love it so much.
I will just start with the finishing line. I DO recommend this game to ANYONE who is a fan of the Prince of Persia series. IMO this is actually the best one in the whole franchise. It has everything - the prince's acrobatic capabilities (parkour, if you wanna call it like that), loads of fighting/combat combo's, a huge amount of different enemies to face during the whole gameplay, amazing sites and the list could go on forever. Personally I just love this franchise, that's why I'm recommending this game, but this game is just suited for anyone. There are so many puzzles to solve during the game for those seeking some "brain using" gameplay, and so many secrets to reveal about the prince himself.
Well, of course I should also mention about the soundtrack, which is amazing as well (DUH). They really nailed it by using some really nice metal music (especially Godsmack's tracks \m/).
20 Empresses out of 10, best game of the decennia.

EDIT: After playing it on the PC for a bit, I noticed quite late that the resolution is square, and you have black lines on the sides(YES, that's how much I got into the game, that didn't even notice those lines). There is actually some kind of mod, that you can find in the steam discussions, which helps you put your own resolution, but it's not flawless as well. Nothing relevant will be lost during the gameplay, but you'll get used to it soon.

Yes, that's actually what pisses me off most of the time, and when he uses his 'tentacles', or anything else happens tothe Prince, there's no music, or sound or anything, just a bump if he hits the ground and his scream. I hope it would get fixed, but pretty sure they won't do it.

I have seen dozens gameplays of WW on youtube and almoust all of them was pc versions, even I used own pc version of WW, but just give up on it. And in every single of them has bug and glitches that I never have in Ps2 version. Also did you notice that in pc version Dahaka doesn't have white glowing eyes? Instead he have boring dark grey eye balls, you can see that bug even in steam WW trailer!

But if player has a choise, I would strongly recommend to pick Ps2 version over any pc or steam version of PoP. Pc version has a lot more bugs. Graphical bugs, missing audio or with big delay, broken animations and video cut scenes. Take PlayStation2 of Warrior Within if you can for most stable and comfortable game experimence!
