Call of Duty should no longer be a yearly franchise with what they continuously churn out for an expected $70.

BO6 feels like a game that wasn't play tested at all. The hit detection in this game is ridiculous; you can get 10+ hit markers and waste an entire magazine only to be instantly dropped in return. Attachments are copy and pasted across the board (often in model as well), and good luck trying to use them because the create-a-class menu seems to have a new bug issue every time you attempt to use it in the menu or in a match.

If you're going to buy this year's Call of Duty, then by all means do so, but in my opinion BO6 is a hard pass in its current state.

Early Access Review
Take your $15 and spend it elsewhere. Battlebit has cemented itself as a "flavor-of-the-month" game, and I don't see it digging itself out of the hole it is in any time soon. The player base continues to dwindle in size while the developers stall on an update they planned to push months ago. It can be a fun game, don't get me wrong, but at the rate it is proceeding at it will be unsustainable.

Everything about this game is rehashed content from prior Call of Duty games in the series, or feels so incredibly repetitive that it grows old fast. MW3 is still an okay game to casually kill a few hours here and there, but the fact they're charging $70 for the same content we've already had in the past feels like a slap in the face. If I wanted to play on Rust again for the millionth time, I'd rather just open up one of the games I already own that has it.

First and foremost, this is a prequel to the Total Eclipse visual novel, so you'll probably want to play this (or at least the original Muv-Luv series) prior to playing through Total Eclipse.

As a Muv-Luv fan myself, I enjoyed it thoroughly, but I don't believe that the novel is worth $25 when you can just watch the first two anime episodes that cover the exact same material. Granted, the prequel does some parts better than the anime (and vice versa), but ultimately it comes down to what's more important to you. Is it your $25, or is it an hour of your time to watch a summary of the content in this visual novel? The choice is yours.

A.V.A. had been one of my favorite games to play throughout my childhood. Unfortunately, this version of it is completely dead. I waited several minutes to find a game in each of the region servers and couldn't find a single match lobby. Don't even bother installing this, otherwise you'll just be wasting your time.
