Factorio stands as a testament to the exhilarating journey of growth and efficiency in the realm of factory simulation games. Over the past year, I have delved into the intricate world of resource management, automation, and strategic planning that defines Factorio, and the experience has been nothing short of captivating.

At its core, Factorio tasks players with crash-landing on an alien planet and navigating the challenges of harvesting resources, building factories, and creating a self-sustaining ecosystem of production. The game's brilliance lies in its emphasis on efficiency and optimization, pushing players to continually improve and streamline their factories with each technological advancement.

One of the standout features of Factorio is its well-designed learning curve. Beginning with basic manual operations, players progressively unlock the power of automation and logistics. Each achievement feels earned, fostering a rewarding sense of progression. Over time, I've witnessed my factories evolve from chaotic and sprawling messes to sleek, well-organized hubs of production.

Factorio excels in promoting creativity and problem-solving. The game encourages players to experiment with different layouts, production ratios, and logistics systems. Whether you prefer intricate main bus designs, compact modular factories, or sprawling rail networks, Factorio accommodates a variety of playstyles. The thrill of overcoming logistical challenges and optimizing production chains keeps the gameplay consistently engaging.

The multiplayer aspect of Factorio adds another layer of excitement. Collaborating with friends to design and manage massive factories is a truly immersive experience. The shared sense of accomplishment when your team successfully launches a rocket is unparalleled, and the game's cooperative nature enhances its replayability.

While Factorio's graphics may not boast cutting-edge visuals, the game's charm lies in its simplicity and clarity. The clean, top-down perspective allows players to easily grasp the intricate details of their factories, and the minimalist art style complements the game's focus on functionality and efficiency.

As I continue my journey in Factorio, I am grateful for the countless hours of enjoyment, frustration, and triumph it has provided. The game's ongoing updates and dedicated community showcase a commitment to excellence from the developers. Factorio isn't just a game; it's a celebration of growth, efficiency, and the satisfying hum of a well-tuned factory in action. Here's to another year of expansion, innovation, and celebrating the beauty of an optimized production line.

Honestly this game is buggy asf, there are alot of stunlock moves and when you get knocked down you will be attacked over and over again during your stand up animation. alot of the times an enemy will attack you when you are above it. and have fun spamming F to get out a zombies grasp. the story is the biggest pile of cliche nonsense where one side is absolutley good and the other is evil. That trope has been done before but in this one it feels alot more spoon fed and boring. you hear the same copy pasted dialouge from NPCs that sound super forced. honestly this game feels like a mental health awareness story. It feels like they saw a story template and used it a checklist and that was the whole story. The best part of the story is the beginning. the parkour makes the game for me. there are alot of little things sprawled around the map and it feels very detailed. seeing the city from the top of a building looks pretty good. but then you get the para glider and you dont even tough the ground anymore because why would you when you can just fly over everything but that is probably just me. the grappling hook was the best addition to the game, it feels smooth and its fun to use a weapon. sometimes the parkour moves feel very slow and clunky but it is pretty fun. nighttime sucks to remeber that first night in dying light? nothing like that there are voilitles roaming and its not very scary. you can out run the zombies with a couple jumps. also they got rid of guns for the story very lame. upgrading your tools and mekits and ♥♥♥♥ like that takes way too long. stealth is pretty cool. dying light 1 is "better" dying light 2 is more expansive.

I am in the middle of carrying a league of legends game about to close it out, and my bra-less wife brings me a sandwich (not asked for) with chips as I get a double kill bot lane.

So how is your day going?

not fun. i did not enojy playing most of the dlc. the hammer is cool, but being surrounded while a lightning speed maurader chases you is not fun. making demons attack faster and have more hp was not fun the spirits completely suck ♥♥♥♥. also forcing me to use the microwave mod is lame i dont like 1. being forced to a mod that i didnt enjoy in the campaign and 2. the microwave completely immobilizing me while it gives me a 2 second cooldown before it spirits another so you have to do the fight all over again. i didnt think anyone played the first game was like, "you know the infinte spawning pillar? lets just do that and charge 30 bucks for it." the purple husks are the worst not only can you not use any blast damage weapons at all but if you accidentally do a glory kill that blows up. oops sorry everything thing as quad damage quad health and immensely gripper hold on your testicles. the final boss was alright. the stone imps were literally a reskin with a lame attack that make me also use a different weapon mode i didnt really like is just such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason for me to switch. horde mod should be able to disable the new demons because ji dont think there is a single one i like. i think the best way to fix it is just to complteley remove the purple husks and make the spirit just die once the demon as been killed. This game just takes too much planning out during fights, gotta make sure that i can finish this demon off and have time to suck its soul. very disapointed because this game is my favorite game of all time i was really surprised how much i didnt i dies and thought, "this ♥♥♥♥ sucks"
