I recommend this one for all the metagamers out there. If you don't like to look things up and would rather figure everything out inside the confines of the game then I doubt you would like this game. In about 45hrs I was able to get the car fixed up quite nicely and passing inspection but only thanks to the host of guides and other information that is out there for this game.

If it wasn't for that, I probably would never have even found the boat, definitely wouldn't know how to get the van and probably would have missed the tractor too. Let alone actually building the car took a lot of instructions, some that were slightly outdated so I had to go back and take stuff apart to fix a small thing. I also proudly back up all my saves, even on "permadeath" as the game is early access and warns the player each time the game launches, "Game might be partially broken and is subject to constant change."

There is still a lot for me to do, the car is just barely above a stock level. I could see myself playing this game for many many hours, but I am easily distracted so I might not.

This game fills me with rage. Nothing. Lines. Up. Nicely. I can't handle it.

"Embark on an unexpected and deeply disturbing odyssey" That's all the store page says. I thought the end of the game was in sight. I had it all figured out. Now I don't know which way is up. This game is mindblowing. If you like card-battlers of any form, GET THIS GAME!

Way to break an 8 year old game

EDIT #2: Evolve Stage 2 is being played again with numbers almost reaching the amount of players in B4B. In spite of their being no ranked servers and no server connected to the store to process transactions (meaning you can't buy anything from the store). MAYBE if you guys turned the servers on over there, ya'll could save some face with the fans. Cause right now. . . No one is planning to buy the next Turtle Rock game unless the reviews are all 9/10-10/10.

Didn't even make it to gameplay. All the opening and tutorial cutscenes have massive audio/visual stutter for me like a skipping record. Got the new NVIDIA drivers and the latest win 10 updates, tried messing with all the settings that I could imagine might effect a pre-rendered cutscene, tried it on two different hard drives one SSD one HDD, still massive stutter.

I exceed the recommended requirements, my PC specs are on my Steam profile.

EDIT: It turns out it is because my friends list on Steam is too large. Over 800 games and this is the only one with this problem. Glad I got a refund instead of continuing to try and fix it.

This is why I bought Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD. I didn't actually want that game, I wanted to show interest in getting this. Wouldn't you know it seems to have worked. The definitive Monkey Ball experience is here.

Don't let the shipbuilder intimidate you, if you save a ship in there it can show up as recruitable mercs or even enemies and you will get destroyed by your own optimizations. Unless you are really into that sort of thing the game is 100% playable with the vanilla ships. However those vanilla ships (even your flagship) are designed with modification in mind. You eventually should learn to modify each ship in your fleet as your campaign progresses, upgrading them and supplementing your needs. Even the description for your flagship mentions that it is not fully outfitted (hint hint), however modifications made in a campaign at a shipyard are exclusively saved to the ship modified and the blueprints cannot even be transferred to other ships of the same type in your fleet. This means you won't see enemies sporting your on the fly blueprints but you also lose them every campaign or even when the modified ship is completely destroyed.

Why is my review just talking about one small aspect of the game? This is what I wanted to talk about and the game has so many aspects I am not gonna cover them all. I honestly love this game, it reminds me of the upcoming UBOAT and older FTL which are both games I already love but then it adds this depth of sci-fi lore and immersion that I cannot get enough of.

I like it much better than the first game, bought it after plague territory update

Nemesis Prime is the dark mirror of Optimus Prime, a clone of the Autobot leader imbued with many of his abilities but lacking all moral restraint.

Goldfire is Bumblebee's rebuilt and "matured" form—Bumblebee retains most of his earlier strengths and weaknesses, but without his crippling need for approval.

It's nice to see skins that reference other Transformers media, I wish there were more!

Glad to see another Transformers game on Steam finally. I have purchased 7 different Transformers in the last year and I still didn't find out about this game until now. I would have paid full price but when I found it there was a -60% sale so there you go. I only have minor complaints with the game;

1. The graphics are obviously just ported from console and there are basically no graphics options.
2. There are only playable Decepticons currently in one(1!) Arcade mode
3. The character roster is quite small with only six playable Autobots

The game is really quite nice besides that, there is good voice acting for the different characters both in cutscenes and in battle, each character has a variety of unique moves and on the hardest difficulty it isn't a cakewalk, especially in the final act of the game.

I am not very familiar with Transformers: Cyberverse, the cartoon this game is based on but the characters themselves I am familiar with and the story although typical for Transformers isn't bad. The player is cast as the "human friend" of the story and this allows them to cutely break the forth wall to directly speak to the player. One Decepticon in the very first mission even attempts to berate Bumblebee for taking orders from a human for example.

I hope more people notice and buy this game so perhaps one day they add a Decepticon DLC or more playable Autobots, maybe even an HD update. As it stands I am surprised they released the Shattered Spacebridge DLC which is excellent and I hope it is a sign of more to come.
