Summary:

At this point, I can't recommend the game, and I've been playing since the mod days. The food spawning is broken, and surviving is more RNG than skill. I played 3 characters today. The first two died from hunger in 30 minutes. You basically can only eat mushrooms, apples, and canned stuff until you find a knife and weapon good enough to kill animals. I finally got a character up and running the third time by switching to a low pop server. Food was going ok at first, got lucky. Again, it's like RNG. Then I started to run short a few hours in, so I made it my only mission to get food. Over tens of kilometers, and hours of gameplay, I found nothing. I had 3 guns stocked with ammo. Multiple blood bags, bandages, you name it, I had it, minus military gear. But food? Not single animal to shoot. I was even using an animal spawn map. Nothing. Looted every town I could, and these towns were fresh and unlooted from last restart (Most of the doors closed, in the middle of map). Not a single can. If someone can magically tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'll change my review. But keep in mind I've been playing since the mod. I know how to survive. I survived the days of zombies running through walls. But this reminds me of that one mod update you pretty much had to join a fresh server to get ANY food. It feels like that, but worse, because food might get taken, but it might also just not spawn.

Running around trying to find food that isn't there isn't fun... You know what is fun DayZ devs? Finding cool new guns, hunting animals that actually spawn, interacting with other players. If you want to have a fun DayZ experience that actually works right, play one of the ArmA 3 or ArmA 2 versions. They may not be as hardcore as the standalone (Which I like), but at least they work.

Things that are actually pretty good:
-Zombie AI is way better. Actually in a working state.
-Gunplay is smooth and way less clunky than ArmA 2
-Really cool realistic inventory management. Works really well. You have to load rounds into mags etc.
-good crafting system

Things that suck:
-Item spawning RNG can make the game unbearable at times, when you simply want an Axe or antibiotics and keep finding car tires and bandages. FOR. HOURS. AND. HOURS.
-Animal spawning and damage is weird. Found a pig. Shot in the head 3 times with .22lr. It ran away and some zombies chased it, basically losing my kill and food because damage is broken.
-Stamina. I'm sorry, but the map is just too big. Unlimited sprint is needed to make the game bearable. I know it will never come back, but with cars being so rare in the standalone, it's just boring having to slow jog everywhere.
-limited military spawns per server. As in if some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ clan ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ take all the M4s and put them in tents, none will spawn. People will say "Well go find them and steal it or kill them." Yeah, ok, let me just search the entire damn map...
-Game focuses so much on realism it takes away from fun sometimes, or the realism is unrealistic. My character gets hungry 10x faster than a normal human. I can run all day and not get thirsty, yet my hunger just constantly plummits. It's not fun searching for food all the time. I work physical labor and can get by with a 2 decent meals. DayZ character? 10 while chickens to survive.

Humble idiots seem to be giving bad reviews. I got it on Humble and I love it. Worth the $1 you pay in the bundle. Game runs fine.

Some people don't understand what the game is, or how it works. The game is different everytime you raise cubs. My first playthrough I didn't encounter one predator, and all my cubs lived. Others have said they lost 3 on the first playthrough from constant attacks. If you play in survival mode it makes it harder too, so I don't get all these reviews saying it's "easy and repetative." How hard it is is somewhat random, and while feeding your cubs remains the same, different animals appear, and different events happen.

This game isn't for everyone, but you can't give the game a bad review for that reason. This isn't no mans sky. The devs made it clear what the game is.

Early Access Review
If you like cars, if you like crashing cars, if you like customizing cars, and you like offroading, this is the game for you. Because it has lots of cars (with many more from mods), has a somewhat detailed customization system that's continually getting better, has really good physics and tire models for offroading (I don't think their is a better game for rock crawler and trail driving as of writing this review). FYI, I only have 40 hours on steam, but I bought it when it was on their website and had a few maps and 5-10 cars in total. I've seen it grow and really like the devs.

Ratings:
Physics overall - 10/10
Handling Physics - 8/10 (only for sporty cars imo. Offroad cars like prerunners and rock crawlers are spot on. Hell I'd give rally cars a 9/10)
Graphics - 8/10 (Graphics get better as time goes on.)
Customizaton - 9.5/10 (A vinyl system would make it literally perfect.)
Optimization - 9/10
Content - 10/10

Crash Physics
Now the Crashing. OOOHHHH THE CRASHING. No not the game, THE CARS!!!!! No game has ever had better crash physics. It's probably the maximum realism we can get with todays hardware realtime. Hell, even big crashes can cause really good PCs to slow down some (which you can't blame the game for. The physics simulations going on here are nuts).

Handling
The only negative in my opinion is the handling of sporty vehicles. It's not bad, it's just slightly lacking. Some cars seem a little less stiff than they should be. It's still really fun to carve through mountain roads though. As far as general driving though it's great. I haven't used my wheel in about a year in this game, but last time I used it it was so so. It could be far better, so I won't rate that as of now.

Offroading
Offroading is amazing. No game does it better overall IMO. Spintires only has the lead in mud physics, which are still decent in this game. Rock crawling and trail driving are amazing, and you can customize ride height and suspension stiffness rebound etc so you can make a trail truck or a trophy truck. Rally is really amazing too, especially with some of the mod maps.

Content
If you like having objectives, you might get bored, but if you enjoy exploring and making your own fun, you'll never run out of things to do. It has some basic scenarios in built in, but I prefer exploring myslef. The game has great vanilla content, and with mods you have tons of awesome stuff. The only annoying thing is telling if mods are up to date. The devs seem to be working on better mod sorting systems on their website. The only thing it doesn't have is multiplayer, which would be nice, but imo isn't needed.

Customization
Amazing. You can change the wheels, steering wheels, suspension, car panels and exterior parts, sometimes interiors. You can customize suspension, engine, transmissions, and even diffs on many of the cars. You can literally remove everything but the chassis and engine if you want( and even strip those down, although you won't be going anywhere lol). The only thing it's lacking is a NFS vinyl type system. You can download skins for cars, but being able to do it in game would be icing on the cake.

Optimization
This game take some horsepower. It just comes with what the game itself is. Over time, it has gotten better and better, but I would recommend a Sandy Bridge i5 equivalent or better. Graphics aren't very demanding unless you crank them up high. It runs fine for me with an R9 290 and a i5 4670k overclocked to 4ghz. I bet it will play fine with a worse CPU, but you might lag a little.

AI is also really cool in this game, which allows for some fun custom or premade scenarios. It's cool, but not something I use all the time, so I'll just say it worked good in the scenarios I played.

Tl;dr - Buy this game if you like sandbox games, cars, and smashing stuff. It offers decent customization with endless replay value due to the awesome mod community. Not to mention the devs are awesome, support the community, and release well spaced updates with significant progress made each one. Tons of great mods to go through on the forum. If I had to give this game any negatives, it would be no multiplayer. The game stands well on it's own, and it's definitely not a reason to skip out on this game. It could happen in the future. but it's not on the top of the list as far as I know. Also, make sure you have a decent computer. You don't need lots of graphics horsepower, but have a fairly recent i5 or AMD FX 8 core CPU to get the best experience. You can still play it ok with lower CPUs, but you might lag when you crash and stuff. Pretty much what it says on the store page.

I bought this game twice, on Xbox and PC. And the Devs release an update for $30. Ok. Have fun losing a fan who supported you, and admired your work. I can't even play the game because this version doesn't work well, and I no longer have a working Xbox 360.

In this game you play a man who is forced by Brendan Fraser to find items needed to open the entrance to the Center of the Earth. Little does Brendan know, he's actually sequencing a code for opening the door to The Rock's Scorpion mummy tomb. Even though he's getting negative Steam Reviews, he continues to hound players and force them to do his menial tasks. He even forces a 30 year old version of Jenny Weasely to help, most likely kidnapping her from Harry. The Cowboys from Brokeback Mountain even make an appearance. One of them is poisoned and you save him by picking up firewood and violins for Brendan. If only G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Pawn Shop Chronicles were good movies... If only he could still guest star on King of the Hill and Fairly Odd Parents... Maybe, just maybe, it wouldn't have come to this.

I recommend this game to people who want Brendan Fraser's weeny in their butt.

I do not recommend it for people who didn't like the Mummy because it's pretty much the same thing except you don't actually see The Scorpion Mummy Rock it's just implied.
