Jan 2025 - The dev's have revised the Region Server merge for some regions, mainly the North American and South American have been reverted to their previous "unmerged" state. The anticheat an anticheat policies set by the dev's requires more improvement. A one day ban on a cheater is not quite the ideal situation players want to witness. These are players who are recorded using obvious wall hacks or aimbots are then caught and get a minor suspension for a day or two and then are allowed back into the game. Not always the case but you get the idea when obvious known cheaters are allowed back into the game. Because the game is free to play you can expect to play against trolls, smurfs or cheaters in vast amounts. The attempts to stem the situation has room for further improvement but sadly this game suffers from the case all free to play games suffers. So be prepared to deal with the occasional cheaters. The game has a very steep and competitive learning curve, its a battle royale MMO so you can expect to get your stupid face smashed in by players better than you. Welcome to the wonderful world of PUBG.

Last year review Oct 2024 - The game has now Region Server Merged the various regions, this means high latency for some players, also means you'll probably come across more players / team mates that don't speak your language. The game has reduced the amount of servers too. Primary focus of these dev's is focused mainly to cater to the ASIA region. High number of cheaters and the anticheat seems to slow at best in dealing with the amount of cheaters in this game.
