(Broken English and Japanese review)
The sequel of first person shooter I've been enjoying quite long time on Steam (2,500 hrs on record). So I picked it up earlier before it's released and I actually have regretted it first since it was almost impossible to play in my old potato PC and no SDK available so the server can not be modifiable so people get used to heavily modded co-op server on Insurgency didn't be so happy neither did I.

Even so, its update solved the issue slowly but steadily like its game style, as I updated my computer it runs smoothly, and some servers increased its number of players as well as AIs, people play in there regularly, it's one so fun co-op game to play especially when you play it in complicated, realistic map you can take several routes and strategies to advance.

Editing appearance is also once makes me feel boring since it's sure lore-friendly / realistic looking one not so many body armours / pants / boots to choose but variety of colours. But when you unlocked more of them in in-game currency you can earn in matches it's so-so fun when you ride in a pickup bed with allies and head-bang with them.

So if you have a mid-end or above computer and interested in modern combat shooter not so casual not so hardcore, I recommend it give it a try.

* Oh hey, if you happened to be an ex-commander of Battlefield 2, let enemies come and call artillery support just above head of yourself while you are defending, it brings you back memories of good glorious old days :D

Steamにある中で最も遊んだゲーム(2,500時間過ぎていました)の続編ということもあって、正式リリース前に購入したのですが、当時使っていた古いPCでは如何せんろくにプレイできず、MOD非対応で19人協力プレイや何十種類という武器MODに慣れていたのもあって最初は購入して失敗だったかな、と思っておりました。

けれどアップデートで少しずつ着実に問題が修正されて、またPCを新しくしたところだいぶ快適に遊べるようになり、サーバもプレイ可能な人数やAIの数を増やしたところが増え、常連プレイヤーも増えるにしたがって面白くなってきました。特に複雑な構造の、でも現実にありそうなマップでどこから進もうか、どう進めるか戦略の幅があるところが楽しいですね。

また今作では見た目をいくらか変えることができるのですが、これも最初はモデルも兵装もリアルなのはいいのですが、さほどボディアーマーやパンツ・ブーツも突飛なものが選べるわけでなく、色は豊富かな……というぐらいの感想でした。これもゲームマッチで得られるゲーム内通貨でアンロックしていくと、トラックの荷台で運ばれていくときに味方のノリのいい同志でヘッドバンギングするときに愉快でよろしいです。

ミドルエンド以上のPCをお持ちで、ハードコア過ぎることもなくカジュアル寄り過ぎでもない、現代戦のFPSに興味をお持ちの方におすすめです。

* Battlefield 2で司令官をプレイしたことがおありの方へ、敵をおびき寄せて自分の真上に砲撃を呼ぶと昔を思い出して楽しい……かも :D
