I literally can't recommend this game enough.
TL;DR: I enjoyed this game so much that changed my vision about games and singleplayer games.

I am currently writing this review only one day after finishing the main story plot. It took me ~65 hours to do so, but not finishing all the side quests (even though I tried to do quite a few). Now I must really give it a pause because I was so deep into the game's content that I cannot think about really finishing the game. It makes me happy to know there still content to dig in.

Formerly I did not have an interest into singleplayers game. I stayed the biggest part of my gaming life playing games such as Dota, Counter-Strike and Team Fortress 2 (you can check my steam profile to see what I mean). But this game, changed my vision entirely about singleplayer games. I thought games as something similar to sport (i.e. get good and play competitively). To me, a singleplayer game was only a way to something tell me a story. And the monster/mobs/quests that I must kill to go on with the story are only 'costs' to me. I used to think that if you want a good story, then go on and read a book. But my vision changed after I started to play Witcher 3 (I was a bit stubborn, still... Took like a few short game sessions to motivate me). After a threshold in the game, I was like "I am starting to not understand the game as deep as I would like to". Thus I spent hours in the youtube and reddit searching content to background my knowledge. I never felt so immersed in a game before.

Hence, I cannot recommend this game enough. So, if you enjoy games of any type and a good story, you MUST give this a go. Every little thing in this game, including side quests and GWENT is connected and fits perfectly. This is something that someone can call a true masterpiece. The game made me so fond to its content that immediately after completion of the main story, I started to read the first book (not the really first book but the one Reddit recommends: Last Wish).
