The trailers are misleading for players thinking that the game does not respect the original designs, but it's mainly the weird angles that for some reason they chose for the final trailer. I can guarantee you that this game does not disappoint in terms of staying true to the original, and this is a direct upgrade from the original.One thing though, the background characters still look from a PS2 game, which is weird when Max is incredibly detailed talking to some low poly background character, I don't think it breaks immersion, but you will notice it throughout the game.
