Start with the base game and practice. You can buy the remaining DLC in a bundle later on if it's not too difficult for you (DLC adds more wacky fun but also more difficult environments/enemies)

-DO THE CHALLENGES! You unlock new items and consumables
-Use different characters! Completing objectives with different characters unlocks new content as well
-Don't be afraid of challenge rooms, curse rooms, and devil deals. High Risk = High Reward
