Do you like exploration and resource gathering? But can't stand how so many exploration and resource management games are procedurally generated and as a result lack any semblance of level design? Then is Subnautica for you. I've now played through this game twice in addition to the early access hours I logged. There's so much you can do alongside playing the main storyline.

As for VR, I would not recommend it, at least not with the first generation of HMDs. The game requires you to be able to look at things really far away at details and lot of the time in VR you can't make it out until it's too close. The cluttered UI doesn't help much either in this regard. I would love to try this with a Rift S or Valve Index, but for now, I'm sticking with it as a desktop game.

I played this with the OG Vive and it looked great and played well, but it was real unnerving at times haha

@rolf, hm yeah, that would do it. Oculus Rift and HTC Vive are 1080x1200 per eye, HP Reverb is 2160x2160 per eye.

Procedurally generated games keep it fresh and I enjoy those types, but going to pick this up and give it a try; looks cool.
