couldve had much more stuff in it and less of the same thing but only harder to do. But it should tone up the bar of requirements needed to make a game

kinda like the new mechanics and refined gunwork. not gonna say it was THAT great but it was a step in the right direction
well another thing I wouldve loved to see was New Vegas writing with this engine.
a huge turn off bout the engine though game speed = fps please stop doing that

I've played the metros before the redux this was a great new sizzle to the metro series although the old metro didnt crash as much. (previously a NVIDIA user) I'm now an AMD user
I'm a fan of shooting games and action. and of course I love stealth too. This game balances it all perfectly
although sometimes the A.I. is just plain hilarious sometimes where you're literally next to a guy and he wont notice you
for the monster well just lead them to a corner load up your shotgun then bam they're dead (does not apply to demons, librarians, etc) All in all I was in it for the story my computer could run it flawlessly except for tessalation(Normal) and SSAA I didnt like SSAA since it made it look all fuzzy (0.5x)
The game is pretty moody in my opinion in both gameplay and well stability.
I had a bunch of fixes to fix the repeated crashing and then finally found that letting the intro play was the fix for it I dont know why but it doesnt crash anymore. But then again the moodiness of its stability comes in and it's like nop ur not playing this I dont wan to play im goin to crash now k bye *crashes*
all in all good. Needs a bit of stability but good.

This game is very near and dear to my heart. It introduced me to steam, to this world. This is where I felt like my life started. but the recent drastic change basically ruined the formula that worked absurdly good. The reason why on average people have about 4000 hours on this game.

Now before you sham on me for being a casual tryhard Please notice this:
I have low div knowledge of competitive TF2 I've spent about 1000 hours pacticing in pugs and scrims. Now I get that competitive and normal TF2 are like night and day. This is how i play in normal TF2 pubs I pick a class I feel like playing and go to town on killing. Specifically killing I only notice objectives when they're about to get capped.

You've basically removed the cycle of which small communities are made. Of how this game has been self sustaining for nearly a decade. Now what is this formula or cycle I'm talking about?
This is it :
1. Join server.
2. Server has other similar experienced players.
3. Server slowly gets its regulars.
4. This also benefits the new players because it gives them an environment of teamwork and communication. They'll be forced to adapt or be left behind.
5. Server now has more than half of its players as regulars who know each other and love playing with each other.

These do not exist at all anymore. Because of the "modern matchmaking system" You've basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the cycle of what made this game so good.
But pocky! Community servers exist. Excuse me? Please try doing that in asia it'll be only about 22 servers with playable ping. Even if I do manage to join a populated community server it'll probably just be a bunch of friendlies. Now don't get me wrong I don't hate friendlies I usually just ignore them and go about killing other people besides them on most scenarios. But friendly servers are a bore. Sure they'll be fun for the first few couple of times till you realize you're just wasting your time staring at each other and making weird sounds.

This game that functioned half as a hangout to make friends. Now a soulless skin simulator with a few likable game mechanics. What's the point of have a matchmaking system without levels or ranks meaning anything at all? This all makes me miss the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is autobalance atleast people stayed after a single game. Not even staying before the game ends half the team is practically 3 people left when they're losing.

What is the solution?
Please I know it's futile to whine about it. Return the valve servers those are the life blood of TF2
The main thing that had it last this damn long. It was working out. I get that there was an issue where the community was split in two between casuals and friendlies. Don't get me wrong but friendlies are the biggest hypocrites in this game. What kind of "friendly" would kick someone from killing them? because it's ruining the "fun"? you're denying the main mechanics of the game, and punishing new players who are clueless about it. If you want to be friendly do it in a damn community server. People come to valve servers to play vanilla TF2. Not a tea party of manly men staring at each other making weird sounds.
