The other computer I logged on is monitored, so I guess that's why?
Now, I'm no employee at DE- so I can't say for certain- but there can be a MULTITUDE of reasons for such.
1) Pricing in different regions. If you can change your location to get a better deal, people are gonna do that. Not a perfect solution, but it's obvious one.
2) Warframe has some base of operations in China. You know how they are with monitoring literally everything. If it's DE's choice or not- I can't say. (Again, I'm not an employee there, I'm just listing possibilties.)
3) It could be something beyond VPN. Something that looks like a cheat engine. Programs aren't humans, so they're gonna make mistakes.
4) Region-locked areas. Be it your government or ending up in an area that DE blacklists (for legal reasons) could cause problems for them.
Ultimately, this is just what I can speculate from the information I see here.
