(I was given this game by a friend and decided to write a review since I decided I liked it so much. I then bought a copy for a friend of mine that hadn't heard of it yet.)

This game is glorious. I love a good roguelite and this is probably one of the best.

I enjoy a good grind where I feel like Ive accomplished something due to the degree of difficulty. And this manages that and more.

I would say even in the best of times some other games get to a point where you feel like youre just playing the game to eventually get to a further point in the game but Hades manages to make every moment feel like an accomplishment or youre getting more of the story even as you repeat early levels and areas.

Also I really have to give them credit for the story writing and dialogue. The music as well already has hit a special place in my heart.

If you like roguelites, buy this game immediately. Its worth it even if its not on sale.
