The game is extremely pleasurable to play, fun, builds are highly customizable and the endgame is quite interesting.
It's a game that guarantees dozens of hours of fun.

Currently, at 1.0 launch, people are review bombing because of connection issues. Do not let this discourage you to try one of the best ARPGs that exist; all games have server and lag issues on launch, this includes all triple-A games. Reviewing a game as bad because of a rocky launch is pathetic. This is an exceptional game and deserves to be exceptionally reviewed.

This simple and at first glance simple game will likely provide several dozen hours of real fun. If you plan to master it, that is :)

This game is fantastic! It's a complex puzzle universe to explore and put the pieces together (in a limited time loop) for an incredibly difficult and satisfying game ending. Just make absolute sure you don`t read ANY spoilers or guides. This is a game you want to go in blind for full enjoyment! Completely recommend it!

An exceptional game with an extra difficulty mode (ultra hard) for NG+ that spices things up. Worth every hour I spent on it.

Another exceptional game in the series, this one focuses less on your survival and hunting animals and whatnot and more on the urban narrative and folklore, and it is filled to the brim with tombs and crypts full of traps and puzzles. Its several hours worth of fun and I highly recommend it, especially with all DLCs.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. Extremely responsive, completely immersive, combat feels real, most puzzles (except those standard ones with the Alyx to unlock storages) are fun to solve and the suspense chapter with the monstrosity, "Jeff", is amazing and reminded me greatly of Outlast. A solid 10 and a must if you have VR gear. My only complain is that it is VERY heavy to run on max settings, loading takes a few seconds. I wouldn't recommend trying it with anything under an RTX 2080 SUPER.

This is an exceptional Roguelike that has the potential for hundreds of hours of gameplay. I'm at 40 hours and I've barely seen a phrase being repeated yet (the voice acting is astonishingly good), and I only beat the "final boss" about 6 or 7 times. It's one of those games you get better the more you play it and it's really worth the money. I highly recommend this game.

This game is a masterpiece.
No matter how many hours you pour into it, the feeling of exploring something new and dangerous never goes away, and there's a little over 100 hours of gameplay if you intent to do all three questlines and achievements, so that's a lot of fun. The lack of information complements the game and gives it a Dark Souls I feeling (so do I have do ring two bells or something? what?). On your first playthrough, you will probably fail the very first (and timed) quest of the game, which is hilarious considering you have 5 days to do it and can solve it in ~5 minutes if you know what to do. That's what this game is all about, exploring blindly, trying to survive a dangerous world with a somewhat merciless combat system (go for two-handed, really, trust me on that). I just can't recommend this game enough, you have to play it for yourself. It's a solid 10/10 for RPG fans. Most of the critiques I read on the comment section are from people who either have no sense of direction at all (it is extremely easy to locate yourself on the map with all major areas having huge landmarks) or who are just bad (combat is simple and intuitive unless you suck at games. Note that it can be challenging against some specific enemies, but it is NOT clunky like many claim it to be, that's just blaming the system). As a note, I've played the game solo and believe that co-op would probably make it way too easy from what i've seen in streams. I recommend going solo for the full experience and challenge the game offers.

Edit: About the Soroboreans DLC
So, is it worth it?
Yes.
It adds so much to the game. The "side quest" is huge and involves many dungeons with an extremely large time window (but still, its timed) to be completed and is extremely satisfactory to complete. The new main questline is very good and the new Unknown Arenas are excellent. Everything about this DLC just feels right, everything was tuned correctly. And the enchanting system is nothing short of amazing (the process itself can be boring but the results are astonishing). Highly recommend it.

Edit: About the Three Brothers DLC
So, is it worth it?
Yes.
It has dozens on new weapons and a few new armor sets, extremely unforgiving enemies, a borderline unbeatable, Slave-Knight-Gael-level Unknown Arena Boss (yeah, looking at you Elite Crimson Avatar), A somewhat stupid city building mechanic (Protip build at least one smithy, one arena and one enchanting guild) and several new dungeons. I had a lot of fun exploring the new region and think it was well worth the money.

DSII is often overlooked in favour of its successor, but make no mistake: this game is also a masterpiece. I guarantee you'll have an exceptional time with this game, and I have to recommend the DLCs, they are especially merciless (looking at you Lud and Zallen, the King's Pets, from the Ivory King DLC, the hardest boss in all the trilogy). If you are coming from DSI, expect the same treatment you got from the first game but with incredible graphics and much, much better controlabillity. 10/10.

Divinity 2 brings all the good elements of its predecessor, with incredibly smooth level/power scaling and low potential for exploits.
Brave the world in any way you want, be it killing everyone and everything you see moving, sneaking and pickpocketing around or tricking NPCS with your persuasion skills.
Combat is very dynamic, with a single spell able to completely transform the battlefield. For example, if I use Rain and then cast a fireball on a water puddle between my party and my enemies, the steam cloud will obscure their vision, forcing hand-to-hand combat.
The story is well developed and Origin characters integrate seamlessly with the world and its characters.
D:OS2 has my Seal of Approval!
