For a comeback to the amnesia name after handing it off to another studio for its sequel, I kind of expected something...idk, a lot better than the dark descent?
This game tries to make it seem like its grittier and more impactful than the dark descent was, but while there are some nice moments occasionally during this game, it just can't seem to live up to its precursor's legacy.
I think this game might be neat to try out when it hits a 50% off sale, but otherwise you're just playing something that desperately wants to prove it's bigger and better than it actually is.

The music is beautiful, the people are beautiful, slapping Hades back into the Underworld is beautiful.
This game is straight up beautiful.
