Great. Getting updates too. Clearly made for vr, good redpill for a headset.

Great little testing tool that proves that frame time is king in vr, all day, every day.
I currently have the top result. In nvidia control panel, disable "vr pre rendered frames" and set it to "application controller".
Set latency reduction to ultra.
Prefer max performance.
disable HPET if you're on AMD.
Use a DPC latency checker and get that as low as you possibly can. Enable IOMMU.
Then turn on hardware managed gpu memory on windows 2004~, optimize for "background applications". Disable "Game mode" in the xbox center. Disable overlays.
Enjoy rapid frames and high scores. No cheating the system.

An absolute masterpiece leaving you begging for more.
This game took me 12-18 hours to complete using smooth locomotion and taking my time to soak it all in on normal difficulty.
Get VR, and get Half-Life:Alyx. You won't regret it for a minute. I forsee many additional playthroughs.
Thank you, valve, for being so awesome.

OMG VR!
OMG.
VR, OMG.
OMG. VR.
or:
"I can't believe it's not half portal life 3 episode 0."

If you have a headset, get this game. If you don't have a headset, get a headset, then get this game.
Waste no time. Do it. I played for SEVEN HOURS on launch day without stopping. My legs are mush, my arms are tense, and I'm still not finished yet.

Unfortunately requests admin access every time it loads which is bad for streamers

Several more hours in now: this game has HUGE replay potential. I really, really can't wait till more variety and balance is here but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'm still enjoying it.
It doesn't hurt that the performance is out of this world, too. The playstyle and combat changes so much with various weapon combinations so that even in it's early state, it's just great.
This is really good for people who only have a few hours a day for vr.

The game sucked me in for over an hour in the first time I played. I'm bushed, but the game won't wear you out as much as some others, but it will if you want it to.

This is a marathon "play until you die" style vr masterpiece that looks incredible and plays so, so smoothly.
They've managed to make swordfighting feel great without crowding you. There's two mechanics, armor break and health deplete. The enemies regain armor and become unstaggered over time. There's many "skill trees" depending on your playstyle, and the parry and dash mechanic is very well thought out.
Your bonus abilities reset every round, but that's fine.
I super recommend this game.

I own a ton of vr games, an absolute TON, and as well I also own a bunch of vr rhythm games. This one is great for pick up and play, the pacing is great, though you need to like dubstep for the default soundtrack. That being said, the game is ALREADY being modded. Seriously. It's been out a couple of days and there are already modders putting rock and metal and your anime waifus into it.
Is it worth it? Yes. If your legs can handle it. 1.4 hours FOUR DAYS AGO and I'm still sore.
Protip: turn off threat lines (easier to see the bullets you actually need to dodge!) and remember that your head is the only critical part.
This is a bullet hell game merged into OSU, in vr with the aesthetic of super hot.
