an excellent party game for vr, there aren't many asym vr games out there now that are two players, and this one is being actively develped and worked on. It's incredibly cheap for what it is, pick it up!!

Extremely underrated VR shooter, that has an incredible a e s t h e t i c and VERY, VERY good artwork. This is not a game made from default assets and should be highly considered.

Unfortunately it came in the wake of many other wave shooters, but it's set itself apart with the 80's feel and bullet hell mechanics. Pick it up!

Counter Fight is an absolutely amazing party game with a responsible amount of alcohol.

Beating your friend's high scores and watching them get better with every round is a riot. The game is affordable and I recommend you get a copy.
Recently Viveport got an enhanced edition of this game with samurai. With any luck it'll come to steam too.

Vertigo goes on my "hidden gems" list. (even though it's still fairly known)

I've been playing the demo and preview since the Vive was released and finally pulled the trigger on the full copy since I've been clearing my general VR backlog. This game is the FPS adventure you want, with some great traditional art mixed in, fantastic voice acting and some scares, surprises, and laughs.

It will take you around 5+ hours to finish, and a lot more if you read the entire story, which I recommend you do.

Some things that aren't immediately obvious:
you can scroll the little datapads text by moving your thumb pad.
If you're falling, sometimes you can save yourself by using the spacetime manipulator quickly
Scrolling the computer screens is done by dragging your finger, just like a cell phone.

Challenge: Did you find the carrot? :D

What can I say about NRA? I've been playing the game since the DK2 days, it was highly polished then and continues to be so. The A E S T H E T I C is incredible and it's exactly the kind of thing that shows the limitless potential of vr.

Mechancially, it's a polished emulator frontend for libretro with amazing texures and overlays to make you feel like you're playing the games as intended. As I'm sure you know, you can customize a huge number of aspects of the game, including your own roms, and there's a very helpful community here and other places on the internet to get you started if you're not as savvy.

The developers are very active and listen to feedback.

My only gripe is that I wish there was a VISUAL interface for button assignment on cabinets, or even better, an IN VR editing mode where you can select various aspects of the arcade and the various rooms and customize them right from there. There should be a visual, even 2d arcade editor where you can simply click and choose the objects you want to use - the game could crop

The movie theater is a great touch, too, but it takes a while to get everything operating correctly - which is the only thing holding me back from playing it daily. Swapping and putting in roms is really tricky, especially if you want to add a game that someone hasn't made a pack for yet.

but boy howdie when you get it going, it really shines. Multiplayer is fantastic as well. So much potential in this game.

Elite Dangerous IS an MMO. It's an mmo that you pay once for, and get to play for the rest of your life.
If you like EVE, this is everything eve is missing, and will have the rest soon.
If you liked No Man's Sky but wish you could play with friends, this is your game.
They promised a great deal of features and have delivered on every one. It's fantastic, the VR support gets better with every patch, and it's vast and engaging if you participate in the community goals.
Best of all they listen to the community. It's also easy to jump in and out of, take breaks and come back to.

This is one of the most understated champions of vr right now. To make sure I had a strong comparison I played real table tennis for 2 hours before strapping in and playing this game. The realism is uncanny. The ai is also incredibly good and I have no idea how this Dev team did it. The mocapped personality of the ai is fantastic. I have not played online yet but I plan to. Buy this game.

REAL TONE CABLE NO LONGER REQUIRED!!
THE MOST RECENT VERSION, released today, of this beautiful, wonderful tool to learn Guitar and Bass just added a mode for acoustics. This, of course, means you don't need a real-tone cable anymore, you essentially plug in directly to your mic or mic port.
I Went out and bought two - but now you can get this game without taking that step.
You lose the "effects" that you get with the realtone cable (post processing on your guitar) but you can play, with the game's feedback, and get good.

In the course of a year, I have gone from never playing an instrument outside of gradeschool (poorly) to being quite accomplished on 5 string Bass Guitar. Confident enough to want to start playing in a band.
You could be too - Seriously - pick up Rocksmith. You won't regret it if you stick with it.

One of the best general 3d object viewer and scene creation tools there is at the moment. I highly reccomend you check it out, people are making proper games with it too!
Look out for my rapid room prototyping tutorial!

OH MY GOD... I felt like I died for a good long while there. The experence feels a lot longer then it is. If it was any longer though, I wouldn't be able to handle it. Well done Spectral Illusions, you've made the most terrifying vr experence so far. And it runs great, and looks great, with zero judder even with reprojection off (rx480) I'm very impressed.
