absolutely excellent from minute 0 to minute 1000

Gameplay is the same from hour 0 to hour 2 and maintains the quality of a free Roblox game throughout. This one needed longer in the oven to add some additional mechanics or goals to chase to give it a little more oomph, because what's present is unfortunately not worth the asking price imo.

absolutely slaps

pushed through to the 12 hour mark hoping to finally reach the thing that would captivate me about this game and it never really came, mostly just boring survival mechanics and uninteresting combat. fantastic building system, good performance, nice graphics, music and sound. just boring! probably much better with a group, i played solo.

Remarkably clever, fantastic script and voice acting, some standout artistic moments, solid music. Some occasionally ugly areas and low-quality models (this game targets running well on the Switch) cannot undermine an otherwise fantastic experience.

Easily the most powerful social VR platform that would delight anyone who loves to tinker and experiment. Pretty much the only VR game where you can develop content for others to enjoy without ever taking off the headset. While unpolished in some areas (namely the new user experience), it makes up for it with an incredibly friendly community full of people eager to help, and a development team rapidly iterating the game with ever more powerful features and depth. The "Early Access" tag is no lie -- I would definitely say that this platform in its current state is for enthusiasts or people who are willing to struggle for the first few hours of play to get their bearings. However, I think this platform is basically the VR equivalent of an IRL makerspace, and anyone who loves tinkering and video games will feel right at home here. Even with some current shortcomings, mostly in the experience of onboarding new users, Resonite has a bright future and is in the hands of some truly skilled and passionate developers. And it's free!

The movement in this game is some of the best in any 3D platformer I've ever played with incredible depth and freedom of expression.
