If you're looking for socializing, Resonite sucks and you can safely ignore it.

Full body tracking is absolutely terrible, performance is bad even though it's supposedly being worked on, and worst of all; finding, customizing or setting up a fully featured avatar is an absolute chore, even _if_ you know what you're doing. Even if you're lucky enough to have a veteran helping you out every step of the way, it'll still take hours for anything that matches other social VR platforms' public avatars.

If you are a Second Life user who wants to try VR, a programmers looking to nerd out about things together, or someone who spent more time building in games like Minecraft, Garrys Mod, and Little Big Planet than actually interacting with the rest of the game, then Resonite might be enjoyable for you. It's more of a sandbox engine than a social platform. The controls being very specifically tailored for VR though, so you better have a headset.
