Bought a year subscription and initial impression is that I wish there were more full "I want to play this song without the backing track and sound like the song" playable levels for songs. It's either the chord chart level where you can strum however you like or full on lead levels which at times require backing tracks to keep the rhythm going. Something in between to the two is what I'm getting at and would be ideal to me.

I recommend this game but think it could use some improvements. Such as:

1) The grind. Even having a high level carry you, it's a grind that's going not much of anywhere fast. You get melted by high level enemies even if you build a tank character. You and your partner try to choose low level quests to fix this but the enemies jump from level 13s to 40s mid quest. Call me a leveling Goldilocks where there's a too hard and too easy but I feel this game could benefit from not requiring leveling and just allowing people to construct characters with a limited amount of skill points. It takes hours and hours to get to level 26 being carried through higher level quest lines. Why make a level playing field so elusive? Why is the status quo something that has to be earned when all of these video games are fictional to begin with? You'd think in pay money to play game land I'd be where I wanted to be from the get go.

2) I play left handed and I don't know if I got some taunts double bound in the keybinds or something (wasd is updownleftright arrow keys) but the reloading is clunky as all get out. You basically have to be a sitting duck to get a proper reload animation to cycle through.

3) This game takes up almost 140 Gigabytes with the Super Deluxe Edition.

Conclusion:
The art style is nice, the story has its funny moments and if you create a character at the same time as your fellow vault hunter and don't have a level gap then the game is more of a shared adventure. Watching 1 damage tickers for hours has a limited audience I believe.

An amazing tower defense game before they decided to make Plants vs. Zombies into a shooter franchise. I sure would like another one of these.

Let the bodies hit the floor, lets the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the floor, let the bodies hit the... FLOOOOOR.

This games for those with a big iron on their hip. If you've got a bleeding heart for monsters this game isn't for you.

A fun game concept. Gather together with 3 other player to defend against waves of enemies. There's different heroes with different strengths and weaknesses and plenty of maps. Any RPG has the sort of grind versus enjoying the game balance that is has to be wary of messing up. There's grind to this game but the concept is fun and makes the levels go by. Many tower defense games are limited to the two dimensional world and defense against enemies is limited to the towers themselves. This game allows you to go into the three dimensional world and fight alongside the towers in the defense of Etheria. For a 2011 game this is huge.

There's also variety amongst the map selection which is nice. Where better to gather to spend gems and choose maps then a medieval tavern?

Garry's Mod is a fun way to mess around with the source engine. With the integration of the workshop stuff is much easier than it used to be. Mods like Wire mod which have some use would have to be manually installed to the right folder. Now you just browse the workshop and add to your collection.
Garry's Mod is like god mode in video games but with the power of creation. Didn't like that your hovercraft wasn't super fast in Half LIfe 2? Just add some rockets to it and watch yourself speed up too fast. Want to make your own vehicle? Attach some hoverballs to a flat surface prop, weld a seat to the prop and add some rockets for thrust. Make your own mega battles between NPCs and see what would happen. A lot is left to the imagination in this game in a good way.
There's also tons of multiplayer servers with differing mods on them that can be played. Some DarkRP and some vanilla Garry's Mod servers can be fun. Be prepared to go by the admin's rules as they rule the coup on their own servers. There will probably be at least once you're victim to the kick/ban hammer figuring out boundaries of other's temperament. In singleplayer you can do whatever you want which is why I recommend it to start.
It is fait accompli, not fortuitous, that Garry's Mod is the mod to mess around with the source engine.

A great addition to the game in DLC form. It's all there in Civ VI vanilla we just had to try it out first in DLC form. I didn't really notice any change in the AI combat system. The upper difficulties are really just smacks to the face. How many more settlers are they getting? How many more warriors? Just turn up the difficulty and it's more. No AI is outsmarting the human but sheer volume of handicap to the AI will overwhelm the human.
Like all the civilization DLCs its more lateral depth of preexisting variables that is appreciated and some new features. Religion becomes a victory mode in Civ VI. I wish they would focus more on the AI and less on releasing, as they have three straight times, games they flesh out with two full scale DLCs and a bunch of little ones. There's so many great variables to this game that makes the gameplay seemingly endless it's just the AI is so temperamental. Good luck figuring out the AI, all I know is either you're getting outscaled and have to go to war or are doing a good job scaling and get war declared on you. Place your cities with defense in mind so you don't have to dedicate 6 units to a city on a plain on the wrong side of a river (in comparison to your other cities locale).

Recommended.
