This is a very good sequel and it's clear Frontier went out of their way to respond to player feedback.

It's not perfect, some gripes include the guest count limit, the extra clicks required in the UI, and the inability to select weather in sandbox. We also need an Outamax Blitz with fast-switch track! But beyond these gripes the better performance and smoothing alone make this an improvement to the well regarded original.

It's clearly the predecessor to Baldurs Gate 3. The combat and graphics are a small step behind but it's more than worth playing if you're looking for more BG3.

This is a really good game for 2014.

The problem is it released in 2024 and Bethesda needs to grow up.
