This game isn't just incredible on it's own. It's also kind of a statement of love. I've played all Half-Life games (including Opposing Force, Blue Shift and the episodes) and Portal games, and this game references them all with love. I'm baffled by the sheer excellence. Best game I've played this year by far.

The expansion packs for Half Life 1 let you experience the story through different characters eyes. This doesn't do the same, since the story's completely different. But I feel there is a common touch in that you get to experience the Half Life 2 world through the eyes of one of your enemies. It feels when you have to shoot rebels, but the game also teaches you to love it, as an good cop in a functioning totalitarian dystopia would. Recommended.

Not only is the gameplay overall good. Most of the game stays within both the general idea and the atmosphere in Half Life 2 storyline and map design. If you liked Half-Life 2, give this a shot.

Probably the best game ever made for it's time. Then Half-Life 2 came.

I've tried a few VR games by now and nothing compares to this. Outside of Alyx, the best VR games I've played are custom maps for Alyx. It's also a great addition to the Half-Life story. It was kind of worth buying a VR set just to play this (over and over).

Early Access Review
Weird combination of cozy and challenging. Same strategy rarely works twice so it keeps you on your toes.

The game is practically built to cause VR motion sickness. The immersion is literally minimal. All interaction in VR is through a couple of points in the cockpit.

A brilliant game that combines the best parts of Minecraft with the best parts of Simcity.

At the moment I'm writing this, I have about 700 h logged on The Binding of Isaac games. I think that says enough. The series is incredible, constantly challenging in more ways than one and forces you to constantly develop new strategies and routines.

Very addctive and challenging game. Built on creative problem solving inspired by Deus Ex, learning the techniques of the broad range of classes, and easy but cool retro graphics.
