One of the best games I've ever played, I think about this one often and it's been years since I last played it.

One of the best games ever made, this time with fancy graphics and endless usability improvements. What more can you hope for?

Fight monsters, compose songs, build traps, defeat or become a necromancer, get your kids kidnapped, bring them back, trade with elves, then drop them in lava, forge artifacts by dwarves, from dwarves, get your life's work and 200 dwarves get dismantled by a mosquito that bleeds acid, hire Dwarflock Holmes to solve the mystery of the Missing Dwarf and the Curse of the Werecapybara, exclusively create furniture from purple trees, fight zombie fish on land, host a tavern, hire a bard, make them a mayor and build waterfalls to keep your dwarves from going insane...

I could go on....

So I will!

Learn to make soap, save lives, breed 2000 chickens and "accidentally" send them into the trap corridor, build a ballista to test what it does, run a 5-minute course for a dwarf to become a surgeon, forget what the queen wanted this year and hear The Hammerer doling out the punishments down the hall, ask a dining hall to be decorated and face 100 renditions of the carvers favorite type of cheese, befriend the aye-ayemen, plan to conquer the depths of the earth and repeatedly fail due to your own incompetence, hubris and endless unimaginable surprises.

It's a better version of the original in every way! It's lovingly crafted and it seems to hold up way better than expected.

Even the few jokes that would've felt stale and offensive 14 years later were updated. A nice touch that has weirdly (though I guess unsurprisingly) upset some small angry part of the Internet.

No Man's Sky is such an interesting ongoing experiment and it's already way past all the expectations that it got negatively reviewed for 4 years ago.

Man, I don't even know what to say. It's just so refreshing to see an RPG that doesn't have any combat and is written so well.

Best game of 2019.

An ecosystem simulator game, where you introduce species trying to keep others in check, while also playing the part of a mad scientist.

If you're like me, that's a game you've been looking for for years.

So, here it is.

Very interesting genre to follow and this game is the cleanest one to play.

I don't know any other game that delivers stories that are heart-warming and disturbing at the same time.

Finished the game twice, but there's still so many interesting places and stories to explore. Now waiting for the next major patch before diving in again.

It's like Sunless Sea, but better in pretty much every front.

Also, massive thumbs up for the diversity of the characters.

I don't like sports games or visual novels.

This one is a combination of the two and it's my absolute favorite game from the last 5 years.

Play with a difficulty that leaves you barely scraping by, the best experience of this game is rising to the occasion after letting everyone down.

If you've been avoiding Zachtronics games because they look too complicated, this one is definitely the one to go for. Very friendly, very clear and incredibly rewarding. All the rough edges from previous titles are gone, leaving just the marvelous puzzling.


Polished as well, especially for Early Access.
