Where should I start...
Beautiful art: draws a lot of inspiration from classic and modern artists, like painters and sculptors; has the best animated pixel art I've ever seen in a videogame.
Great gameplay: many different skills and powers. The combat feels a lot fluid and there are many different ways to address to fights.
Lots of content: huge map, many sidequests, extra content in NG+, alternate endings, different outcomes to certain decisions. If this was made by EA, you'd probably have to buy it in separate chapters, but these nice spanish folk even released 3 FREE DLC, even after the game was already finished and had made it's name.
Extensive lore: many of the refferences can be linked to Spanish folklore and back to the catholic inquisition times. Regardless, the world of Custodia feels alive, with deeper meanings behind every symbol, and only deepens your immersion, if you're interested in any of it.
Cons: 1- Demands higher skills in platforming and patience that most people that call themselves gamers would probably lack.
2- The ending brought me so many questions I'm just bolting through life to get into 2023, when the sequel will be launched.

I've pirated this game in 2019, finished it 5 times, got so hooked into it that when I heard the Amanecidas was coming out, I had to buy it. No regrets. Then I've finished it another 8 times, and just now done my 9th. Got every single thing there was to get.

10/10, buy it
