Ahhh...DayZ standalone. Over its dev cycle it has had a history of running poorly on most machines. While in theory this game has never changed. Technically the new renderer makes DayZ Standalone more than a kill on sight simulator. It makes it something much more than that. Now that the game doesnt run like a console game, we can finally enjoy playing this work of art at much more stable frame rates. Its much more satisfying killing a random person who jammed there gun and just moments before shouted they were "FRIENDLY"... Nice try pal.

VERDICT: Now that .60 is out, this game truely shows its colors. It's a fun game that can be buggy at times. I'm going to throw the early access card out and say that I hope this game can have a complete launch one day and be nearly bug free. I think this game caters to an audience, and it does it's job pretty well. I give the standalone a 7/10
